There is a ritual, whenever someone from bapuji or cods goes to Davangere,he will have a dosa there.And almost every dental college in India has a student from bapuji working there.So the story of benne dosa has become legendary across India I'll say. Thank you for making me revisit bapuji again....

Eateries outside South India literally killing dose by overloading it with Amul butter, cheese, Schezwan sauce and what not! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Dose is not just a food item, it's an emotion for us ❤️

@Suchitra - What coincidence. Just wrote the similar comment. :-) Even in Bangalore I saw some atrocious variations like Chicken top dosa or Fish dosa etc . This was death of Dosa literally. 😂😂😂 MTR, Adigas, Davengere Dosas still retain the true Dosa spirit.

Davanagere benne dose, chutney, and palya taste so different and yummy in comparison to regular dosa, chutney, and palya. That's the reason it makes it so unique. Hiii Sir, It's our favorite place to taste Benne Dosa. u visit Kottur 80 kilometre distance from Davangere. the land of Sri guru Kottureshwara. In kottur Mirchi is soo famous. kottur mirchi is famous in all over India.. u must Visit Kottur once. & should taste kottur mirchi

That fluffy khali dose should be had with mutton green curry/ korma or Mangalore chicken curry, Whenever i cook nonveg curry next day i buy benne dose from sri raghavendra benne dose here in Bangalore through zomato or swiggy for breakfast, Fluffy dosa or idly that can soak up curry is just heavenly.

Just amazed how our city people share all the process and recipy of the legendary food without any worries 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

I follow this gentleman's commentary all the time. I have eaten dosa in this centre 2 years ago. Every word pronounced is very much true. Service, quality and taste are really exemplary. I was staying at a hotel less than 200 meters away frm the dosa/dose place while travelling to my native near belgaum when me and my dad tried the benne dose for the first time..... we had to wait for 10 mins to get a table to sit and eat but at the end, it was all worth it and I hope more people try the dose frm this place
