Exploring D'Entrecasteaux National Park Part 1: The pearl of South West WA!
Today I'm heading in to explore the D'Entrecasteaux National Park. I'll be checking out Moon's Crossing, the Gardner River Crossing, Moore's Hut (or Coodamurrup Hut) before finding camp near Coodamurrup Beach. Hope you guys enjoy part 1 of the adventure.

Stoked to see you guys are enjoying the ep! Currently editing together part 2 and will have it ready for next Monday. 🙂
If you're an RAC member you can get the annual National Park pass for 50% discount. A whole year of access for $60 is great value.

You can enter any np for the purpose of fishing and not have to pay a dollar.
YES! more travel content! love it
Can't beat a one-pot pasta dish for a delish, fulfilling and easy to cook meal at camp. 👌
That little camp spot just up from the beach but just down from Moore's hutt is my absolute favourite camp spot. Travel down from Gero for it!

Thanks for the clean up. If enough of us keep doing it, we may be able to keep going to these beautiful places. I always fill a bag with plastic detritus when I'm on the beach. Even the most remote and least accessible beaches have micro plastics on them these days. I went into Banksia Camp and over to the Broke Inlet for a few days just before the hordes of Easter arrived and can thoroughly recommend that end of the D'Entrecasteaux NP too. Great trip and video Daniel.
Love the video mate! Thanks for sharing it with us
How good is the new setup, that draw is awesome for cooking 👌👌

Great camera work Daniel
Hi mate, love the show and the content. What chair are you using in this episode? I like the way it folds up so compact.

Thanks mate appreciate that! It's a Blackwolf compact directors chair, the main reason I got it was for it's compact size when folded yet study design with solid arms when built and have been pretty pleased with it so far! Here's a link to where I purchased mine: www.snowys.com.au/compact-directors-chair

I was going to ask this same question haha
Love your videos, National Parks and grey water … I am about to purchase a similar set up to yours, my wife told you can not take a vehicle in unless it has grey water tanks.. are you able to explain. Cheers
Stayed at Banksia Camp many times, but not explored inside the national park itself yet.
Nice episode, car looks great rolling down the road. With ur out takes and edits, u should shine a bit more light on them instead of a few seconds at the end, its interesting what lengths people go too to make a video. Maybe a minute of out takes at the end of ur trip episode video, either way tho good video, got ausolo vibes from it. Look forward to part two, bet the mrs was spewing she missed the trip.

Thanks mate, appreciate that! Glad you got the Ausolo vibes too, I’ve been wanting to do a bit of a camera pickup montage for a while and seeing Graham’s vids recently reminded me 🙂

When pronouncing just put a “O” with the Aussie twang and you got it mate 🤙🏽😂
Couldn’t help notice you lit the stove by a lighter and use a gas bottle also? Issues with the fyre knight? My small gas bottles keep freezing up when low, thinking of going to a 2 kg to over coke this… where do you store your gas bottle?
@explorebound
Жыл бұрын
Yep the piezo ignition on these stoves fails within a few months in my experience (this is my second Hyperflame), but the stove works so well in other areas that it doesn't really bother me having to light it manually. Regarding gas bottles, I mainly use a gas bottle for economy as it's cheaper to fill them up than buy a lot of the replaceable propane tanks, but you do seem to get more power from the stove using a gas bottle vs propane tank too (I've only ever experienced the stove blowing out while on propane tanks). In saying that, the propane tanks are really convenient and I always carry a couple as backups incase I run out of gas in my main cylinder.
Hey nice rig where’s your walk around tour
