I just want to put something out there. If they aren’t showing us exactly where it is, it’s because not everyone would show it the same respect they do. Respect bag limits, folks. Respect size limits. Only take what you need with an eye toward what is sustainable and where an ecosystem needs help. Use all of what you take. Pack out what you pack in if you go camping. Keep your licenses current. Leave things better than you found them. My time on the soapbox is concluded. Aaron and Madeleine continue to set a great example in that regard. Thank you both for taking us along for the ride.

I’m not a free diver, other than our annual scallop season up here in Hudson. I wanted to tell you I was shallow water grouper fishing the other day, and a good fish rocked itself up after nailing a plug. The captain was about to break us off, but I said “No. Aaron Young would never let this happen”. I grabbed a mask and dove down and pulled “ a 28” gag right out of the rock. Coolest fish I’ve ever caught. Thanks for the inspiration man. Keep on it!

I first knew about your channel when you did a video on hurricane Ian making landfall in FL. It just made me cry when I saw this video and to think about all the natural beauty that was lost in the Fort Myers, Sanibel, Cape Coral area. It will take some time to regenerate back to a sustainable environment. But that is the reality of nature. Hope to see more of your video on fishing.

There are a lot of parallels in our stories. The video about how you kind of "fell into" your current life is one of the best. I live in Mexico now, a five minute walk from an amazing beach. I don't need a boat and I fish as often as I can. Check out this rooster fish. And if you ever come to the Puerto Vallarta area let me know. kzread.info/dash/bejne/aKqF0q2vh7TQeM4.html

Aaron, try to keep a small bowl of warm water with a splash of vinegar in it. Then you can dunk and use your hand to place the rice and it won’t stick to your hand. Also smear a small amount of the water on the edge you want to seal at the top of your roll. Finally the small bowl is also very helpful to clean the knife between slices on the roll to get good clean cuts. Pro tip- put the rice down then flip it over and stuff it on the inside of the roll with the rice sticking out. The water mixture will ensure your hands don’t stick when rolling. Aaron, just a tip, and I'm no expert by any means, try to not smash the sushi rice with the spoon onto the nori wrap. You want the rice to still be flaky/fluffy. Also try mixing Dashi (Bonito flakes) in with the vinegar, sugar, and salt. In my opinion it gives it a more authentic taste. Great video! Looks tasty, got me craving sushi now! LOL

If your going to explore, explore some places with fish!!! You know what I mean. We love seeing the fish. All the different places with the nursery type environments that holds these abundant amounts of juvenile species that you are starting to be known for. I think one episode I probably counted 12 different types fish. The kids and even my brother whom has a mental disability can sit for hours watching you and your wife going in and out of the mangos while steadily counting and naming the different types of fish or shell fish even plants. I know that you probably don’t hear that your a learning channel or anything but we use it for that all the time so please continue with some of your abundant fish holding spots ok. We enjoy the learning opportunities that we get from your dives. So Thank you in advance for filming some of these type spots. We love it. As much as you love exploring how about keeping an open mind about the kids or even adults learning about the sea life. Heck it may be an idea for you to start something like this. Maybe a series that may even be picked up by some of the larger channels. I did t even think about you maybe having your own series about the sea life and the underwater environments. Hey how about calling it Underwater learning with blah blah blah!! Just an idea maybe. Like you don’t have enough stuff going on right?! I know that wee joy it that’s for sure. Thanks again for taking the time out to respond to all of the comments out there. I know it takes up a lot of your time. So thanks again from myself and my brother Henry Hanson. We are both Florida natives that have lived in Central Fl our whole lives. We are in Brooksville Fl raised in San Antonio FL. I’ve spoke. To you before. We really do enjoy your content. Please keep the videos coming.

I remember back in the ‘80s me and my buddy would every year leave Atl and drive to the Keys and mostly end up around Duck Key. We would camp and do just like you and snorkel all these hidden mangroves. We would literally live for 2 weeks on mangrove snapper crabs and lobster and many many cases of beer! Some of the best days of my life by far. Back in those days no one messed with ya and we just winged it for the most part. But we ate like kings and lived like kings when life was simple and free! I will never forget those many trips we made religiously every summer it was prob the most fun I ever had growing up. I still go back every year now but much older with wife and twin 14 yr old girls!
