Exploring an Abandoned Neighborhood nicknamed "Buddyville"
Ойын-сауық
From what I understand, this abandoned neighborhood in South Beloit, Illinois was prone to flooding. So, it was condemned and eventually demolished. The houses are completely gone now. The locals called it "Buddyville" and one of the houses appeared to go abandoned in 2015 because a calendar from 2015 was still on the wall.

I grew up down this road. This place became abandoned due the owners inheriting the property from passed away family members and couldn't afford the property taxes.
Found you from TikTok love seeing abandoned places. Keep up the good work and do what you love
I always wonder why neighborhoods or portions of neighborhoods become abandoned. So sad

@@lachelnderhund That explains the rapid mold
Sees Menards 50 gallon trash can yep definitely Midwest hahahaha
Weird how people just leave all the stuff behind. Creeps me out. I wonder why.
That calendar was put in there by a homeless squatter. Anything they've brought in may be newer. The rest of the stuff is definitely 20+ years old.
Awesome video!
I really enjoyed seeing the video. Hey have you found out anything about the Propety or what happened? I hope you all don’t get sick from being around all that mold and mildew.

Looks like a tornado or flood may have happened.
I've lived about a half hour-20 minutes away since 2008 and never known about this. Feels weird knowing that it was likely abandoned at the same time as me living here.
Saw your videos on tiktok now following on tiktok and subscribed to your channel
Looking at that Pokemon gameplay booklet ; id have to say that house has been abandoned since ‘04-‘05
Was a blast!
I have to imagine they left from flooding and stuff but I don’t get why they just left all this stuff behind. It kinda feels like they just took the essentials and left never coming back
i live near a abandoned house.. although there’s a sign on the door that says “danger keep out” i’ve always wanted to go in there

I was wondering what part of south beloit this is. I don't recall seeing anything torn down this summer but maybe I missed it
Looks like they left in a hurry.
