After our first spot got blown out, we hit the trails and explore a bit of Ali'i drive to find some new fishing spots. After nailing down a spot to fish we land a solid Roi, and invasive species in Hawaii. Shore fishing went pretty will, with the exception of the heat and the load of dangles lmao.

keauhou. I was in that same spot last saturday, and sunday. I did not get nothing...... So i put on dive gear right in front you guys. And i found choke lures, and tackles. That water right their is so sallow.

Have you ever tried rigging soft plastics weedless to fish those areas with tons of structure? When I used to fish the rocky shorelines in CA I would rig swimbaits and jerkbaits weedless (Texas rig) and cast around the rocls and kelp.
Shore Fishing... sometimes the struggles are real! No Skunk Tho! Hope you are able to still get out and fish during this “2-week” shutdown 🤙🏼
You know it's a solid hard cast when you can't hear it pull drag even with a tiny little lure 😂
Been going out to hokulia. Deep water and Some good fish there. Let me know if you go I would be down.
Carry your rods ”Backwards” when you are walking down brushy trails. Let the rod follow you instead of trying to weave it through in front of you.
