There's two Wendy's nearby me. One was extensively renovated the other was torn down with a new one in it's place. They both were the Dave Thomas old school style. I miss those. I remember going to eat at their mega bar back in the day.

Its not everyday you go inside of a vacant Wendy's I almost went inside an abandoned Target that closed in 2015 but the power went out as soon as we open the doors on the inside and we chose to leave

The room with mirrors was the former Superbar area. Mostly were covered over in the newer model stores in the 1990s.

The exterior is so nice and clean and interior so clean and chill

Looks like a 1990s model Wendy's. There's one similar in Carrollton Georgia, replacing a 1979 model location next door, that was razed once the new store opened in 1996. It was renovated in 2014.

What a waste of electricity with all the lights being left on 🤦‍♀️

My local Wendy's looked like that until they remodeled it sometime around 2018. It's been there over 20 years. I miss the old Wendy's.

I would like a double Bacon cheeseburger 🍔 lol they wanted to take it off the menu when Dave Thomas passed away, and everyone was like WTH wete the bacon cheeseburger lol. I guess when Dave well known person that started the Wendy's restaurant is no longer around they think they can change it all out cause he not going to be there to see it.

I have 2 questions I would like to ask you. It is not specifically about this video, though. All of the buzzers or bells buttons that you like to push. Did you ever have one that worked? The other question is that when you go into abandoned places, did you ever see any squatters? I have seen in different videos where you can see their belongings, and I was just wondering. I couldn't find a different place to post it at.

Yes, many buzzers/door bells have worked. I only ran into a squatter once but that was outside of the building. Inside exploring, I never have

I have been to a few Wendy's here in upstate New York and they look similar to this closed Wendy's. Outside looks different, inside looks similar with a few differences.

I,like the Old School Style Wendy's better than the new ones now a days. And, don't forget Clara Peller,from the Old Wendy's TV Commercials, "WHERE'S THE BEEF? 8:05

I notice when you were inside you said Hello to check if anybody was in there because homeless people have been known to go inside closed/abandoned restaurants/bussiness/stores/houses to stay and sleep and what not

You have to admit there ain't nothing more depressing than a empty lonely abandon building that can't greet any customers no more.either if it was recent or one that had been empty many years.

The one near me was renovated a few years back, and the one in the next town over still retains it's old school style. Both are always busy, and usually takes 15 minutes to wait in the drive thru till you get your meal. I forgot to ask, but did you receive the vintage shopping bags/matchbooks I sent you? (Ames, Bradlees, Caldor, Bed Bath and Beyond) I just acquired two more for you.

All these new looks for fast food places makes me want to have Elon Musk buy up fast food franchises just to force them to keep the old look. I went to college and hated college. I don't want fast food places to have that dumb college campus look.
