Bulstrode is an English country house and its large park, located to the southwest of Gerrard's Cross, Buckinghamshire. The estate spreads across Chalfont St Peter, Gerrard's Cross and Fulmer, and predates the Norman conquest. Its name may originate from the Anglo-Saxon words burh (marsh) and stród (fort). The park and garden is Grade II* listed.
The Estate and grounds were also used in the filming of Johnny English 3 and Maleficant starring Rowan Atkinson and Angelina Jolie respectively!

#Alex, I'm watching this one for the second time! I love the end when lil dude tells y'all to feck off out of there! Lmao! Beautiful building, I'm so glad you got to document it! ❤
Wow what have they done to the place?!?!This was my home for a good few years and I know (knew) every square inch of the house. So sad to see the place being wrecked and a lot of the beautiful features stripped out.Strange to see it like that...I have lot of happy memories living there with my family. My parents are Howard and Gill Sayers and lived there with my sister Julie and.my brother Tim when WEC owned it.Thanks for sharing....Pauline x
That was amazing, no security. Sad to see the Manor house being chopped up into appartments but if it means saving the building so be it. Shame all the original features and fireplaces were removed. It was gret to see this, thank you 💕🇦🇺
Crikey mate. Used to live in Iver in the 6ts. Summer Sundays M&D would take us to Bulstrode Park for waks out n about. I remember the aporoach, down darkish lanes to entry oint, a gatekeepers house to the left, maybe. Then through and onto the fiekds/"Estate, l o n g walk thru fields. Never remember any house tho. Nice One.
8:43 those look like they were sensors, the round white thing to the left of the front door and the big red round thing on the plywood! They probably haven't worked for a while if they are sensors!🤔😅 Hell of an explore Alex and Matthew! Thanks for the tour, another "Golden gem!" Also, 17:18There's another bricked up doorway! That security at the end was trying to act scary but, it's like Fluffy said, if you are Indian from India, you just sound funny when you try to be scary!🤣
Very grand building. Had a chuckle at the end you bit getting caught in the loos lol. You're a great partnership xx

Thanks Gaynor, yeah had a lot of positive feedback about exploring with Matt, so will be doing some more in the very near future. Watch this space 👍
Hi Alex, omg what a gorgeous place, so huge too. I almost fell off my chair laughing when 1st off Matt puts his sticker in the site office toilets then when the builders walked in, that was hilarious. Thank you for sharing, that was awesome, much love. xx 🥰
#Alex, ballzy af! My man!!! I Loved this one. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time! I've actually seen this place before it was taken apart. It's a beautiful place! Thanks for going there, and scaring the crap out of me doing those stepping over stupid drops! Lmao! JK! Stay safe, love from Alabama ❤️🇺🇲❤️ 💙🇬🇧❤️
Absolutely love your channel ❤️ Brilliant explores, and narrated in a really interesting and respectful way. Thanks so much for showing us all around these wonderful buildings. I live near Bulstrode and have an update on the place. Bulstrode was bought in 2017 by Abdulla Khalid Hamad Al-Thani, a prominent Qatari Statesman and member of the Qatari Royal Family. The building is now going to be a 53 bedroom luxury hotel, and not split into apartments (as people were previously led to believe locally). Original plans that went before the Council in 2019 were for a 60 bedroom hotel, but due to the pandemic and the resulting global financial situation, the plans were revised back to 53 bedrooms. The old accommodation block for staff, around the back, is going to be completely knocked down. Security has been ramped up since your visit......you were very lucky indeed!keep up the brilliant work. 👍
This was excellent! Such deja vu. I stayed here in the summer of 1983 when it was owned by WEC. As you turn down walkways & hallways I’m feeling so nostalgic.

That is really cool to hear, glad to hear you enjoyed the explore 👍
Thanks guys, great to see such a detailed exploration. We worked and studied at this Christian community base over 40 years ago, and later visited it many times. Understand that the original purchasers/developers have gone broke, and the place is on the market again.
A truly amazing look round , your explanation at the end to the workers was a flash of pure magic , like you had a get out of trouble card up your sleeve . You covered most of the buildings and videoed it for posterity . I have to admit you are the the best thing since pork pies and ale at getting out of character and into top flight filming . A big thank you for this outstanding explore , Stuart in Canada ..
A fun watch, what a grand building it must have been back in it's day. You guys cracked me up whispering, I missed almost all the conversation, but then you both clomped about like a herd of elephants. I laughed so much at that. Absolutely love the manor and appreciate so much what you do.

Awesome ,good laugh at the end. I think Matt likes getting caught LOL I'd like to see that house when it's all finished. Thank you for pointing out the cobbles. I find that kind stuff interesting and will never understand why cobbles were used in stable yards.. What I love most is very old kitchens with iron stoves to cook on. I'm so happy you didn't get into devils and demon's. I will never deny the the existence of the supernatural, but it's my belief devils and demon's were invented to keep us all in the control of the churches. Great video. Have to get my dogs their lunch ,then I will be watching another video. Blessed Be and take good care x x

Thanks for checking us out Rebecca, glad you're enjoying the videos. Greetings from England 😁👍
BTW, my GG Grandfather was from England! I’ve always had a love of the proper English language and culture! So wish we didn’t tear down our history here in the USA but had learned a lesson from Britain to keep it standing and appreciate it. I know they’ve torn down a lot in the UK, however,r ppl around the world still come to experience so of of what has been preserved. Love it and hope to see it one day! Love what all of you do!
Such a huge beautiful building - love the brickwork and the cobbles. Hope the original features are kept in the restoration - would love to see the finished results. Funny playing cat and mouse with the workmen! Brilliant explore 👍

I stayed at this place for a couple of months in 2001 :) a little sad to see it in this state. But I am happy they’re restoring it for the future. It’s kind of funny to see you sneaking around this place as it if is some kind of mysterious building, while I remember the fun times I had there when I see these rooms again.
You guys be safe and careful.😊👍🙏

I heard a ghost fart in the attic at 15:21 😅
Wow that place is in a real mess glad they are renovating it
Big job for 2 blokes 😂😂
The manor will take years to do up and you might run out of money the cost of heating will be very high and water bill the roof could costs alot too
you was all very lucky
All the furniture put some where safe I wonder where the money comes from the rich man's taxes I surpposts
81st! At least it hasn’t been trashed! What would it cost to get this back into living condition? Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
DA HORA AMIGO
Sos for so many comments, but: the fireplace surrounds, have they been nicked, as was happening a lot back in the 70's or taken out for preservation / later reinstallation ¿?
Maybe The villages will get together and do it up or the national trust
Any idea what they are going to use this amazing place for?
Should have asked them if they had valid work visas?
Me an TSV tried this last year lol there was so much secca there
