Awesome house! I normally don't like wallpaper, however, I really like the kids choo-choo train wallpaper. Very nostalgic feel to it. Thank you!

WOW!!!! Loved the Arched Doorways, the Fireplaces, the Sunrooms, just INCREDIBLE!!!! WHAT A GREAT FIND!!!! Love to see a place that doesn't have UGLY GRAFFITTI and PAPERS ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!! Oh, and the "WOOD WALLS", that's actually a "Cedar Closet." I have one.

What an absolutely beautiful classic mansion! Love all the original features. So heartbreaking that it will be demolished. Urbex videos are so great because they actually document these old homes. That may be all we have left someday. Thanks for what you are doing. The lock on the outside of the bedroom door may not be anything sinister. We had to do this when our sons were small so they could not get INTO our bedroom, as the little monsters were determined to rummage through our stuff - resulting in broken jewellery and making perfume "soup". They are reasonably pleasant teenagers now. Anyway, loving the videos. Take care of yourself. 😊

@@silenthillsexplorations Seen this home with a different home explorer. I think this home would make a beautiful place to make a wedding venue. Could have wedding, dinner reception, dance and go to sleep there. The lock think could of been kids that would leave the bed at night or early morning and wander outside or get into things. Our neighbor had a three year old that got outside in the middle of the night with snow outside, could of ended really bad. It could of simply been for a child’s protection or a parent they were taking care of with dementia that would wonder off and it was put on for safety, out of love so they wouldn’t get hurt. It doesn’t always have to be something horrible.

12:18 when he opened that door 😆 it scared him and me! Great explore & a beautiful home!♡My friends mom put a lock on the outside of her grandpa's room because he had dementia.In the middle of the night he'd leave the house & cross a very busy highway:/ So they put it on there to keep him safe. Ot it could to keep the children in from not wandering the halls or stairs at night too. Thank you for taking us with you!♡

What a shame that this beautiful house is being knocked down. Seemed move in ready to me for being abandoned. These homes has so much character to them. The houses today are either prefab homes and cheaply made much cost close to a million dollars to buy.a basic 3 bedroom 2 bath. This is a beautiful home. I just found your channel. I joined!!

I love that old house . It's big and if you had live in maids then you would have rooms for them separated from your living quarters.

The closets are probably cedar wood to keep moths out of the clothes.

The property is actively worked on, and workers go in and out throughout the day. A squatter would get caught in a matter of hours unfortunately

What a beautiful home, such a shame it's going to be destroyed. Thankyou for sharing this. Just some thoughts, if that was dried blood it would be brown, the polystyrene on the back of door is insulation to keep heat in room, and upstairs would be warmer because heat rises.

@@silenthillsexplorations I'm glad it's not being destroyed. Regarding the blood, it's an easy mistake to make, the police explained it to me after I found a child's bicycle with what looked like blood splatter over it.

Looks as though you've just begun your channel. Congratulations!! And what an amazing home. Just a bit of positive criticism to make you the pro of exploring. Take a deep breath and slow down. The camera movements are a bit fast and not real smooth. Realizing we all begin as beginners and through experiences we become better.and eventually we become a professional at our job. Darling....... The house was most definitely not built in the 1800's ! Why don't you go to city hall and get the info on the house. Heat rises ! Of course the more you go up the hotter it would become ! Nice tour...thanks !

Abigail... Room locks from the outside... Probably buried under the concrete standing up.

I'd love that house. If owner doesn't want it I'll sure take it. Shod give to someone who can't afford a place to live instead of it going to waste. I have five kids and can't get them from there abusive father cause I don't have a place to live where they could live with me. It answer a large prayer. Oh one day maybe I'll have my prayers answered. God will send it when he see it right time.

Is this house for sale? I want to buy it, but hates the squeaky floor! Whole pipe system needs to be change, boilers, Air system, a lot needs to be upgrade: from bathroom to kitchen. Ughhh -- thinking about it. Please let me know which state is this in?

The land and the house has actually be bought a few years ago for 15 million dollars. They are in the process of building homes around it, so unfortunately you wont be able to buy it :(

There were no obvious signs that the workers diddnt want you to enter. We actually encountered another explorer while we were inside.

Queste non sono case abbandonate, ci sono dei padroni, però purtroppo con questa moda di andare a cercare case dove non ci abita nessuno vengono vandalizzate e distrutte da questi personaggi in cerca di chissà che cosa. Sono proprietà private dove non si dovrebbe entrare. Ma c'è parecchia gente priva di rispetto su tutto e credono di poter fare qualsiasi cosa.

You focus to much on equipment and personal junk rather than panning slowly around a room and focusing on architectural features. This is a nice find.

Well... Good news, I actually heard that the house is not getting demolished, houses are just being built around it, which is very good news. Right now, the power and electricity is just on for the workers to use while they're working. Its good we diddnt run into any! Thank you very much, 1k subs is my next goal :)

Yea, they are probably going to renovate the mansion. Right now they are just using is for the workers to use the bathrooms and whatnot while theyre working outside.

I always wear a mask no matter the place, and the mansion was wide open, we even met another explorer inside.

It's hard to see stuff when keep saving your hand at everything.

Could not watch past the 4:45 mark, because you had already used the word "cool" eleven times. You explore great places, but your commentary isn't very cool. I turn the sound off.

I love the places you've explored but your young age and absolutely immature comments are really just too much for me to even listen to. SORRY no offense but please do your reserch into places and things before you make such immature comments that actually distroy any context of the videos you've made this far.
