Stockton Rush in one video said if he heard some noise that he never heard before, he would suspend the exploration and return to the surface to find out what went wrong. It takes 2.5 hours for Titan sub to reach the bottom of the ocean, and if he heard new noise after 2 hours of descent, he would drop the ballast and try to return to the surface. The hull might not be able to survive another 2 hours, and he would be crushed. That just happened.

You climb one of the highest and most dangerous mountains just to go have dinner with your friends 😮 how unfair for the rescuers who would have to leave their families and risk their lives to go embark on these rescue missions just because you’re rich and bored. Normally I’m a positive commenter but it’s the troll/bot/ haters that I want to verbally shred. I’d love to see their lives and if they’ve ever driven in a car, road a train, flew in a plane, have a roof over their head, electricity, clean water to drink, plenty to eat and clothes to wear. Why, because lives were lost in the pursuit of our lifestyles in every way and people who invented and developed, manufactured, , improved and upgraded, shipped…. All did it and along the way it was tedious and expensive… painful and frustrating…. Exhausting and yet they kept going and innovating…. And many lives were lost. Everything you have and every single facet of your life is benefited from men ( and some women too) who do what others won’t or can’t. So stop a moment and be grateful and appreciate that you don’t live in a cave because if progress was left up to people like you, that’s where we’d be living. Difference of 13 soccer team in Thailand. The team knew the dangers, but they didn't risk the dangers. Context matters: They went in knowing the weather doesn't change for weeks. The weather changed on them by freak, uncontrollable or unforseen events. The always denominator was bottom of ocean with crushing pressure, with a non stable vehicle. The risks were seen, and dove into with lack of knowledge /too much knowledge with unstable equipment In fact the 2 brtish divers that found them didn't get paid. They said they went back to office job. But the tax dollars spent on these billionaires, who don't pay taxes.🧐

People forget the facts that Stockton had a numerous safety feature built in and one was that if the Titan was down over 16 hours it would automatically drop weight and returned to the surface immediately and that never happened so, it should have been clear the Titan was lost and everyone on board was dead at that time. Remember 16 hours and the bolts holding the sandbags would dissolve and the bags and weight would drop, forcing the Titan back up to the surface just incase all the passengers were passed out. So the Titan should have surfaced and it didn’t.

oxygen =/= air. even after all the oxygen in the pressure vessel is used there is still CO2, N2, etc. even if changing all the O2 into CO2 by breathing did reduce the air pressure inside the sub I don't think it would matter. You're talking about reducing the internal pressure by less than 1 atmosphere when the outside of the vehicle is around 400 atmospheres of pressure. I highly doubt there is any appreciable difference between a pressure differential of 399atm and one of 400atm

I don’t begrudge anyone to travel, explore or have a dinner party on top of MT Everest as long as the company in charge of it does everything there is to do to insure safety. If I could afford it there are a few things I would love to do. This group of people that love adventure are how the rest of us will ever have a chance to see or hear about some amazing places. Thru their stories, pictures and videos. I say have fun if you can afford it but make sure you know the company taking you and the product you will be using or in. I know a lot of people are making sick jokes about the 5 we lost and that’s sad. I’m from Mississippi and was brought up not to speak I’ll of the dead. My soul actually hurts for the people on the Titan and their families especially the poor mother that lost her 19 year old son that from what I understand didn’t even want to go but he did for his father for Father’s Day. I don't think the ship itself doesn't want that as well. Only certain people are allowed to go to the worse dangerous parts of the world and call it a career. The government doesn't protect everyone who gets caught up on lands that belong to the natives in parts of the world. I read history books during the pandemic, and I got my answers. (Using my best Brockmire voice) To answer Dan's question of not getting the inhumanity or non empathy to the Subway situation... (If you actually look closely on the sub, it says" parts made by subway" Thats my redflag right there.) (Why was subway feeding people plastic as Why are you going down to the depths of the ocean in a plastic container in comparison to the depth pressure)... (Moving on...) But Using Dan as an example: I'm starting a GoFundMe for Dan: I need a Billion dollars for "discovery". Apparently, Dan wants to discover the volcano 🌋 that smoked the people and city of Pompeii but in a Prius 🚗, full of hot pockets. The Breaking News : Somehow Dan has been trapped in the middle of a volcano....It seemed the powerful Eco friendly vehicle, couldn't withstand the awesome might of Mother Nature. Oh well... How many Hot Pockets can Dan eat, before the lava, gasly fumes or combustion get to him😂😂 (Since Dan likes positivity) Atleast all of them would be warm and ready to eat. Before possible impending sure doom- (Brockmire sings badly) 🎼(Hot pocket jingle)🎼😂😂 Answer from long example: Why would Dan or anyone obtain a billion dollars then ride a Prius in the middle of a volcano... (Same difference of reasoning of putting self in a no win situation for a reason that means nothing while on the bottom of the ocean) Put it in football language: Some wr in the 90s known as alligator arms for a big catch but said "That LB/safety was about to take off my head and paralyze me." Reporter asked why didn't take the risk... WR:He said: "FOR WHO AND FOR WHAT"
