EXPLORED the Edge of Cebu Island (Last Northern Municipality)
Daanbantayan is the last municipality in the northern part of Cebu. Located at the tip of Cebu Island, Daanbantayan is a first-class municipality known for its beaches, dive spots and island barangays like Logon (Malapascua) and Kinatarcan. In fact, the town has several sea ports offering trips to its islands and islets. Favorite destination of scuba divers around the globe.
But in today's outing to Daanbantayan, I am not heading beyond Cebu mainland. I will be touring around the town proper. Of course, I will be looking for great landscapes and views I can share to you all. Anything I can find that makes me smile. I will be taking the Curva-Bagay Provincial Road because I want to see that part of the island. I have already seen the opposite part when I went to Kawit (Medellin)-Bakhawan (Daanbantayan) in one of my previous videos.
I will be entering the town via Barangay Bateria. And, I will be cruising until I reach Barangay Poblacion. I will show you the attractions in its town center like the town's municipal hall, plaza, church and other spots nearby. I will also be taking some drone shots of the town. I will also be checking their central public market because I would love to see the bounty from its seas. Hehehe! I love seafood!
After scouring its poblacion, I will be heading to Barangay Maya via Barangay Tapilon to check the New Maya Port. Apart from the port, I am also interested to fly my drone to get a closer look at Bulalaqui Point. It is the part of mainland Cebu considered as the farthest (tip) of Cebu.

Wow! I really love this place. I wasn’t expecting it to be dynamic and progressive! Now, I can’t make up my mind on where to buy a place. Do u think, in the future, one of those ports will be an access route for RO-RO from either Negros or Panay to Cebu. I usually like to see the plan ahead! Beautiful Cebu! I appreciate it more and YOU are an ambassador to its beauty for the world to see!

It is possible. If not in Daanbantayan, maybe Bogo, Medellin or San Remegio. Daanbantayan is like Moalboal, but more provincial vibe. They both attract so many tourists both local and foreign. Oh my goodness parang Manila price lang ang isda diha nga naa na man gyod unta na sa Daanbantayan. Kanang imong mga gipangutana nga presyo sa isda idol GAWENS mao-mao ra na nga presyo diri sa Manila. Ang akong misis ganiha Mar. 23, 2023 namalengke nipalit ug class A nga isda sa talipapa Maya-maya tag 400 ang kilo lami kaayo sa tinuwa nya ang Nocos (puti nga squid) 380 ang kilo. Busa makaingon ko sa akong kaugalingon nganong mahal man ang isda sa probinsya kay adtong nibakasyon ko sa amoa sa Carcar City adtong last week of Dec. 2022 to Jan. 10, 2023 mahal pod ang isda didto mora man pod og presyo sa Manila.

Mas nindot man isuroy dapit sa SOuthern part of Cebu...na notice lang nako nga scarce kaayo ang green environment in some southern part of cebu. I hope some citizens would be sensible enough to contribute their time to plant more trees for a greener environment, but I noticed the means of communication has improved significantly.

yea 3 main roads. one is via medellin-kawit-bakhawan, 2nd is via national higheay brgy. tinubdan, 3rd is curva-tindog-bagay provincial road. 🫡

Growing up, the buses, Cebu Autobus, Rowes Autocar, JD Transit, Golden Swift, had signages Maya via Bagay and Maya via Kawit. All buses ended in Maya. Very few buses used the Main Line because of the horribly maintained roads. The “Main Line” is the shortest,though about 128 kms from Cebu City. It goes straight at the Curva junction. If you make a right at the junction, that is the Via Bagay. The 2 meet at the junction in Libertad. The third route is Via Kawit which goes through Medellin.

you show only the good place. Daanbantayan is also dirty city, there is many garbage in the nature when you are not in the center. They don't care about the nature and the road became swiming pool when it's raining a lot. No maintenance about the road no good thing for take the garbage. It's more bad than Medelin or san remegio. Carnaza is the same there is many plastic in the sand. Before there 's some people for cleaning but now nobody. No budget for clean and take the garbage , daanbantayan is very crowded.
