EXPLORE the new special elements of the Mooloolaba Foreshore Revitalisation project

The video explores special elements of Stage Two of the Central Meeting Place that will create a waterfront wonderland for residents and visitors.
The fly-through shows accessibility features, wide pathways, modern amenities, viewing decks, shaded parklands, showers, bubblers and terraced steps providing easier access from beach to business.
The video also points out additional places to sit and relax under shade trees and open grassed areas to enjoy the stunning ocean views.

    fantastic that council is spending BIG on NEW facilities, .. if only they could maintain existing pathways in existing parks…. that are dangerously broken .. when i complained … “we dont have any further budget for replacing existing paths ways ” … .. kinda hard to to accept..

    The majority of the design is terrific and I think the new facilities are fantastic. So much better than the old Loo with a View. But there is too much concrete and not enough landscaping. People are always seeking a grassy, shady place to sit and take in the views. This concrete will be hot and deserted for most of the time. I would sooner see natural graded landscaping with grass and trees in lieu of the terraced seawall. It will be hot and I don't buy the line that this is for climate change. If that's the case, are we going to build a terraced seawall southward from the surf club to the mouth of the Mooloolah River? Are we going to build a terraced seawall from Caloundra to Noosa?
