Pokemokeable Hi! I actually spoke mandarin a lot in myeongdong. Almost all the shop have someone who spoke mandarin... not kidding! And some if u speak slow english, they will understand

Do the store person(?) talk in english? Like, when I have to pay and you don't understand how much you have to pay or when I need to find something, etc...Will they understand me if I ask in English? I hope you understood my question cause i'm not good at explaining XD Hope you respond! I'm watching all you videos and they make me want to go to Korea so bad. Greetings from Spain :')

Majority of the sales person doesn't speak English. I seen many speaking mandarin!! When it comes to pay/bargain in stores and street shops, they will often use calculator to tell you the cost. I think they only understand little English such as "how much", "cheaper", "too expensive" etc. If you want to find a specific product, it's best to have the picture saved on ur phone. They are willing to help you find

if they speak mandarin, would they understand cantonese??? bc most mandarin speakers i know doesnt understand cantonese

+Enola Pycroft They mainly speak Korean and Mandarin, but there were times when we did hand gestures while speaking slow English.

ThePepero Yes there was. The bling bling store with the happy face bracelet saw my camera and said no filming. At least i got some footage. Hahaha! The other ones are very nice about it and even help explain products while i'm filming.
