EXPLORE CAPE BRETON ISLAND
Some drone footage from my recent trip to The Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
The landscapes in Cape Breton are absolutely incredible.

Can’t wait to get back !
Absolutely amazing dave hit it out of park buddy its best video of our island hands down second to none
Thank you. I hope to visit the island one day. Im a descendant of the Scots who left for New Zealand after 50yrs of living on the island
Nice video. Just one note: there are bunch of shots from the Skyline Trail that appear to be off trail. For visitors, please don't do this. The habitat is extremely fragile and very easily damaged (hence the walkway that the park installed). Enjoy the beauty of the trail, but respect the park and keep things beautiful for future generations! Thanks, a Cape Bretoner.

Jason Loxton EXACTLY!!! Please respect the ecosystem, its worth way more than getting your drone shots

awesome!! you should do another in the future of the "off the beaten path" up here on the island. Get some awesome shots of some of the less touristy places. This should be the new visit Cape Breton commercial!

Friggin Beutiful!
Dave! I feel like you must be from Cape Breton with that moustache lol
Amazing
Unreal vid
Awesome video Dave. Tip for your drone shots: Look into using ND filters when shooting on bright sunny days. The footage looks superb when you are looking away from the sun in this video, but overexposed and undersaturated when looking towards it.
good work
What model drone was this shot with? The shots are nice and crisp, good colours.
wow i have to write a creative piece based on Alistair Macleod's Island and this video just helped me describe the place 100 more accurately. Cheers
Nice shots of my home man, but you have a mistake in the titles. The Canso Causeway is not in Canso (that is a different town in Guysborough county), it links Port Hastings (on the CB side) and Aulds cove on the mainland. Otherwise nice video!
Ahh I miss it I moved to Halifax two months ago
Lmao show glace bay and new Waterford. That's beauty

it honestly looks nice from that angle. There is drone footage somewhere on here showing it.
yeahh i like this place😘😘
Beautiful video, but who was in charge of the soundtrack?
Nice video! You're lucky you didn't get caught flying inside the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, it's illegal to fly in national parks and could land you a $10,000 fine. Honestly though I'm a bit jealous because I spend every summer exploring the highlands (I'm a Caper) and it saddens me that I can't capture all that beauty with my drone....
yo Dave we meet you and your friends at meat cove beach last week it was nice to talk to you hope see you again and if you came at Montreal d'ont be shy call us
Wow
Why the music?
Awesome!!! Is cape Breton university also here??

Good job bye.......
Is Cape Breton still interested in American immigration? I'm just curious if there is still any discussion about it since the election in the United States. And would I get any points for having a Canadian born parent? My father's family moved to the United States when he was a child. I still have relatives in Canada. Feedback, anyone?

Having a canadian-born parent would likely be helpful, yes.

Brian Garrow do not move to Canada even if you have a reason like hating trump. especially not to a place like cape breton. Canada is on an economic downfall ever since Trudeau went into office. he put Canada into more than 4 trillion in debt and it's still falling somewhat quickly. It's not a place you want to move to right now, but maybe in the future.

please help me to get viza to go this town ???????? i liki't
Most Canadians are descended from immigrants reaching Canada within the last few centuries and therefore have a fairly recent migrational background. Canada does not need people that deny the value of immigrants and pronounce them un-Canadian especially if at the same time they are migrants themselves and attract other extremists from outside or inside of Canada. Anybody, pronouncing citizens with a migrational background as un-Canadian is in conflict with the ideals of Canada and also wants the wide majority of Canadians deported from Canada. Canada is one of the 3 or 4 countries in the world that function best and has an important role to play in the world (exception: The tar sands mining in Northern Alberta attacks Earth´s habitability for humans directly). Thank you for the video. Karl Themel, M.Sc. (Microbiology) The University of Manitoba.

Worst choice of accompanying music ever.
