Oh yes, I was waiting for a video series like this! Thanks, teaches a lot.
Woo, recommending this to my friend right away (he's learning chess and likes the King's Indian). Cheers for great content :)

I did the same also my friend like it tbh I’m learning it because Englund gambit is not good response to d4 and whenever I play the englund if my opponent know what he’s doing I know I’m going to lose
Amazing that you're starting this series ! Thanks for this content sir
Thank you so much for creating these videos!! I loved all your London content (and Chessable course!) and was so happy to see that you had videos for the KID!! Can't thank you enough!!
Glad you started it up! Keep up the amazing content. Transposing into a caro kann like system is not how I learned to play it and this is gonna open up so much more play for me. Thank you

It’s certainly not the only way to play this, but I figured out this might be a new approach for most people. Hope it will fit you and help your game!
Thank you so much! Been waiting for this!
i'm so excited for this climb! u covered my london white system and now my favorite opening for black! thx boss :)
Awesome choice!!! U seem refreshed after the break!
Excited to learn more about the Gurginidze system, especially when to use it and when not to. I’ll have to listen carefully and have my notepad out! I’ve enjoyed your content for the year or so I’ve been back in chess! Maybe one day I can be so cool and competent w 19sec left in the clock! 🤣👍🏽👏

Right ? Bruh straight dissected his opponent while still commentating everything he was doing 😂
Good teacher. Learned Caro Kann and now Kings Indian and thoroughly. Thanks!
So stoked for this series!
Yes babyyyyy. You are hitting the things I am trying to learn spot on ❤ keep it up teacher!
Bro you turned up on the homie with those 19sec left lol you didn’t have to do him like that 😂 savage!
this is the content that I need right now, thank you
I'm really happy you made this video
My new favorite speedrun!
Hoping to see queen's gambit someday! I love the london but recently I want to learn the queen's gambit as another way to play d4

Just play it and try it
I was really waiting for this. Anyway, one question: doesn't starting with 1...g6 invite too many Pirc-like positions into the mix? Can't really speak for anybody else than myself, but despite the similarities there are significant differences between KID and Pirc structures and 1...Nf6 gives black the option to answer with 2...d5 vs 2Nc3 or simply vs c3 at some point in Colle/London Systems, while also enticing white to reach the "classic" KIDs setup by playing c4 and Nc3; why are we not choosing this move order? I listened to your rationales in the video but it seems to me that this choice risks steering the games towards setups that are not really pertinent to the theme of the series; I'm sure you already thought of this, just curious to hear what are your thoughts on this

The goal is to play with kingside fianchetto and adapt to what white does. I don't see why 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nc3 should be met by ...d5 as a King's Indian player if we go 1...g6 against 1.e4! Also would be curious to see what set-up is noth pertinent to the theme of the series as I am literally starting every game with ...g6-Bg7? I think I explained most of the important details in the videos so feel free to rewatch in case you missed anything.

@@AlexBanzea Hadn't understood that the theme was the kingside fianchetto in general rather than strictly the Kings Indian opening, I've commented the way i did because I had found that Pircs and c3d4 pawn chains from white can be quite annoying for black and needing a different approach compared to the c4 Nc3 structures in the kings indian. Anyway i guess I just got tripped up on semantics ;) I'll stay tuned, keep up the awesome work!

Finally. Let’s goooo with the new rating climb!!!!
The KID opening with the Caro structure: how do you spell it? Gregornihtzin? I can't seem to find the term anywhere.
Was waiting for king's Indian defence and Pirc.. thanks
I love these Do Ruy Lopez Also Caro Is my favorite so far for the series
Having become a bit bored with the Caro this is just what I needed, another weapon to switch things up and surprise opponents. Brilliant!

I’m going to keep this comment, as Alex would say, very very simple - this channel is the most instructive on YT. Like if you agree!
I like your videos
You just can't resist get fancy just play Qg2 and end the game . Teaching people to try fancy mating nets will more than likely get them in serious trouble. But hey your ego just can't control itself can it .....
Play with white
