EXPLOITED At GRAND BAZAAR! Rolex, Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger

This place is INCREDIBLE and DIRT CHEAP! On our third day here in Istanbul, Turkey we went to the Grand Bazaar for a Fake Market Spree. We found no other foreigners here during Covid. The price is incredibly cheap! From street snacks, fresh vegetables, fruits, clothes, Gucci bags, and Rolexes. The vibe is just so amazing, traditional, and perfect to blend in with locals.

Hi,
I am Jimmy, I left my career in the military to become a full-time traveler, documenting my memories along the way. Kicked off traveling in September 2017 with $4000 in my savings account and first started publishing my journey. Traveling and being able to work wherever I love ( as long as there are Wi-Fi and coffee)

The expensiveness of good brands (nike , adidas , tommy hilfiger etc. ) are not so surprising for us because the government put so many taxes into the price if they brought this kind of products from out of the country . And iPhone 12 pro max is about between 1100 dollar - 1500 dollar in US i think but it's 25.000 Turkish lira which is about 2800 or 3000 dollar . The government is like " if you want to buy something , just buy for me one also "

People's been occupying living spaces of animals, adopted are lucky. But abandoned are incarcerated into the animal houses. We Turks recognize this bad situation well. That's why we adopt them or take care in the streets and let them live freely. This mentality's became a part of Turkish culture.

11:58 Fun fact: Aya Sofia was actually the largest Christian church of the eastern Roman Empire and Orthodox church, but after the fall of Constantinople (Istanbul today) to the Ottoman Empire it was converted into a mosque. In 1935 the secular Turkish Republic established it as a museum and again in 2020, it re-opened as a mosque. Beautiful video btw 😊

We're very good at imitation products, that's real 😂 If they don't cheat people, if they don't sell it as a real product, that's fine. By the way, the colors and shots are amazing 👍🏻😍

Both of them. But I think Turkey is much more adept at imitating textiles and leather products, especially. Better quality materials, better workmanship. Whether it's a good thing or a bad thing, it's a separate topic of discussion, of course.

@@sagala7799 The heart of the carpet is Turkey, you can find different carpets in every region. There are hand-woven silk or wool carpets in İstanbul in the Grand Bazaar, Beyazıt, Nuruosmaniye or everywhere in touristic places such as Bursa, Cappadocia, Antalya, but I am not sure if they are affordable, it varies according to size, material and pattern. Of course I'm talking about hand woven and yarn dyed traditional ones, machine rugs are much cheaper but not authentic. Good luck 🙂🙏🏻
