I have done some of the worst things ever and Al-Lateef never punished me the way I deserved but instead he kept on guiding me and increasing me in everything good. Now my whole life is dedicated to Allah now, I can never repay my lord for what he has done for me. My lord made it so hard for me to sin to the point where even when I try my best to sin he stops me somehow and brings me back to him and corrects all my short comings. Allah is My Lord and Guardian :).

Alhamdulliah. I fit in category of committing sin and immediately asking for forgiveness. May Allah pardon me and give me enough strength, not to repeat my sins again and again. Inshallah. Aamin.

Lecture notes 🖊️ Al Afuw mentioned in surah hajj: Allah swt said, whoever takes a recompense or withequal to that tahy was done to them and then they are transgressed against Allah swt will help them indeed Afuwon ghafoor Surah nisa: these people it is hoped that Allah swt would pardon them, indeed he is Afuwon ghafoor. Word kana (means always). Not like sometimes he's forgiving sometimes not.... Al afuw comes from Al afo, to pardon, Al Ghafoor Mentioned in Surah ahzab: And Allah azawajal accept the repentance of believing men and women and Allah azawajal is ghafoor raheem Surah fath: Allah forgive whoever he wants and punishes he wants and forever Allah is ghafoor and raheem. Come from Ghufran : to forgive, forgiveness Al Ghaffar mentioned in Suraha taha: and indeed i am ghafaar to the one who repent believes do good deeds and then guided and indeed i am ( Allah swt ) is ghaffar Come from Ghufran : to forgive, forgiveness At Tawwab mentioned in surah baqarah Allah swt say i am at tawab ar raheem Come from touba Al Afuw means: The eraser the one who wipes out the bad deeds,to erase a sin, erasing and forgiving and repenting is different. To overlook the sins that a slave do. It's more emphatic than the word ghafoor. Erasing sin and cover up ... Wiping out a sin like it never existed at all. Thats the reason Allah swt said in surah hood, indeed the good deeds wipes out the bad deeds.... Follow up a bad deed by a good deed .. it is Allah swt Afuew. Similarly calamities comes in order to wipe out your sins and make you remember him and make touba to him. Patience and contentment. When you feel happy about whatever Allah swt does for you, easy to say and extremely difficult to do Al Ghafoor means: to cover up, you just Allah swt to cover them and remove the bad effect of them rather the sins are there they are just covered up not affecting you rather its there. When both Al Afou and ghafoor come together we say ya Allah cover up my sins and erase them like never existed. The one who forgives and conceal. Al Ghaffar means: to cover up you just Allah swt to cover them and remove the bad effect of them rather the sins are there they are just covered up not affecting you rather its there. It's not like Allah swt forgive on Fridays and not on other days, rather he forgives all the times.... His pardoning has encompass everything that his slaves does, murder, adultery, lies, everything, Allah swt forgives that. subhanAllah 🤍❤️. At tawwab means: the one who accepts touba of his servents. What does it means to accept his touba to take his touba, you cannaot make touba unless Allah swt give you tofeeq to give you touba subhanAllah 🤍❤️ ‌For Allah to give you the tofeeq to make touba , Allaj swt said in surah touba then Allah swt accepted their touba so that they could repent in the future. So the ability to repent comes from Allah swt. ‌that Allah swt accept your repentance when you ask Allah swt for it. ‌so give you tofeeq to repent and accept your repentance. Allah swt said he is the one who accept the touba of his slaves and wipes out bad deeds and he swt knows what you do subhanAllah 🤍❤️. The fruit of knowledge is to act upon it. Not only just storing info but acting upon it. For us we'd be punished by only knowing it not acting it upon A large percentage of Qur'an has Allah swt names and attributes. Whoever knows more about Allah swt fear Allah swt more and does more worship of Allah swt and does less disobedience of Allah swt subhanAllah 🤍 The shortcomings that we have , what do they deserve?? They deserve multiple forms of punishment but Allah swt pardoning repell those things, we deserve different punishments rather its Allah swt who saves us from those punishment, if it were to happen we would've deserved it for Allah swt never do any thing unjust. If we were to punish, not a single living being to be seen on the surface of the earth. And this is the perfection in his pardoning. Allah swt said in surah Nahl: if Allah were to take into account for thier oppression, none of living being were to remain, but Allah swt delays it for a time subhanAllah 🤍❤️ There's nothing more patient than Allah swt to hear what bad thing's people say, still he forgive them let them live let them eat drink and they say Allah swt has a son, Allah swt still give them more than just what they need..... This is Allah swt. The pardoning of Allah is of two types General kind: Allah swt forgive even kufaar and disbelievers, they done the punishment of Allah swt but Allah swt still delay their punishment. (People of samud were given 3 days after they killed the she camel) .we do things deserve punishment but Allah swt give us time so that we'd return to him subhanAllah 🤍❤️ for us we don't even deserve the duniya rather Allah give us time and give us breathe and whem we repent we inshAllah hopefully think Allah swt would forgive us and to oermit us itno jannah. Allah swt specific pardoning: for those who repent, who do istighfaar,who worship Allah swt . It covers all the sins that a person do and no doubt in doing touba like should i or shouldn't i.... And he stop doing the sins, this person would be forgiven by Allah even if it is the most evil of sins.... So sincere touba is the way, to be forgiven and to be successful. Oh my slave, those who have trangerssed aginst themselves donnot at all despair of the Mercy of allah indeed Allah forgive all sins. There's are lots and lots of ayah saying about Allah swt forgive those who repent Difference between istighfaar and touba Istighfaar: to cover up the sins and not to bring effects on us. Touba is repentance, to feel sorry, to feel guilty, to stop doing never to do it again , So after sin we say , astaghfirrullah which means oh Allah swt forgive us and cover us our sin and don't bring its effect on us . Touba has conditions, bigger version of istghfaar. Istghaar is asking for forgiveness to cover up a sin not to be held accountable for it and not to bring it's effects on you. making touba means you're already did astaghfaar.. subhanAllah 🤍 such is the forgivness of Allah swt that one can make forgive his sins only through Astaghfaar rather than doubg touba which has proper conditions subhanAllah 🤍. Allah swt said, o some of adam till you believe and me ask forgivness from me I'd forgive you and i won't be even bothered by it subhanAllah 🤍. Action tells us is it a calamity or its a test ‌If a person bear patience and contentment, Allah swt give him calamity to forgive him. ‌And those who become angry with Allah swt when a calamity hits them, this is punishment of Allah swt to wake him up to wake him up to give him a chance to repentance. These calamities would come brother's and sisters, but bear patience, be happy for he is Al aleem he knows what you going through he's Al Hakeem he has wisdom behind what he doing and believe me the end would always be beautiful.... Believe in him swt 🤍 The biggest blessing of Allah swt is that a person go on sin and sin and sin and still Allah swt give him subtly, and Allah swt opens a person and accept his touba and become happy swt when a slave of his makes touba though he don't need anyone still he become happy swt. 🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️🤍 Prophet saaw said, Allah swt is even more happy on touba of his slave than one of you when you going in desert and you lose your everything on that ride , and when you find your ride back , the extent to which you're happy Allah swt become more happy than thay subhanAllah 🤍. First we sin though we know Allah swt seeing us but still we do it and then we repent and Allah swt still become very happy with our repentance. 4 important points ‌Constant istighfaar, ‌Constantly asking Allah to forgive you ‌Constantly making touba ‌Never losing hope of Allah swt forgivness ‌Never feeling despair and being far away from Allah swt. When a person is constantly asking for forgiveness he's in the best of state subhanAllah 🤍 When a person do a sin and ask Allah swt to forgive him, Allah swt say my servents did sin and he knew i have a lord, this person does sin again , he say my lord forgive my lord Allah said my servent did sin and asked forgivness, and he knew he can be held accountable for it. Allah swt said do whatever you do till you repent, id forgive you subhanAllah 🤍 If a person slips away unintentionally, Allah swt said I'd forgive you subhanAllah 🤍..... So repent whenever you commit a sin for i commit a sin out of my weakness not in arrogance. May Al afuw Al Ghafoor Al ghafaar At tawaab to forgive and guide us . JazakAllah khair

Assalamu'alaykum.. yeah expunge is good translation but not many people know the meaning of the word (including myself until i Googled it :) according to google, expunge means "obliterate or remove completely (something unwanted or unpleasant)"..
