Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In Today’s video I will be Explaining the uses and differences between all the resin choices we are confronted with today. It can be quite confusing and daunting when it comes to making a choice so today I will be using every resin from the Let’s Resin range to create a layered resin pyramid and explain along the way.

    I think the micro bubbles make it look like the top part is liquid. Which is nice since you’re putting it in a bathroom. I appreciate you showing the difference in the resin. It’s very confusing for those of us who are thinking of starting to craft with resin.

    Thank you. Well, I think if I had left more space between the resin bubbles the micro bubbles might have been able to reach the surface. I could have put it in my pressure pot and that would have eliminated them but I wanted to give an honest look at the resin so I avoided the pressure pot.

    Is it ok to use the resins together or is this just for demonstration? I am going to pour a pyramid but need to know if I can use 1:1 for the tip of pyramid because it won’t be 2” deep. Then I want to continue to use the 2:1 deep pour,if this can be done, how long should I wait between pours (layers)

  • @LouiseSingletonCreations

    @LouiseSingletonCreations

    Ай бұрын

    Yes it’s fine to use the different resins together as long as the layers are cured at least to the point of firmness but they don’t need to be fully cured.

    Hi Louise. I have a question. Although I use resin for a variety of reasons, my "day job" is tumblers. The resin brand I currently use is great, however, it doesn't perform well in colder months. I tend to run into problems with it. If I warm it before hand, I sometimes end up getting a flash cure. Can you tell me how the coating resin performs during colder times of the year? I checked and the viscosity of the resin I currently use is the same as the let's resin brand. I'd really like to have a trouble free resin I can use during colder months. Thanks for any info you can pass on.

    Hi Abby, I have to be completely honest with you. The coating resin was sent to me for making the video review and I haven’t actually tried it on a tumbler yet so I really can’t help, sorry 🙁

    What i dont understand is, if i can use a normal resin and fill for instance my pudding jar mold all in one go and it turn out fine. Then why would you not be able to use the same resin in a pyramid if i poured it in say 3 or 4 layers x

  • @LouiseSingletonCreations

    @LouiseSingletonCreations

    Ай бұрын

    You could use your ‘normal’ resin in several layers. The reason I used a pyramid for all those different resins was to be able to explain the best use for each resin all in one project.

    @@LouiseSingletonCreations I understand that Louise. What I mean is, you hear everyone telling you to use a deep pour resin for doing the pyramids.
