Honestly the mids look better than the highs imo but the quality is wayyy lower therefore the value too. However there are still bangar colorways like the hulks or Chicago black toes that rock with so many clothes it’s insane

I'll wear whatever *I THINK* looks dope not what someone else thinks. Jordan himself hated highs and played in mids because of his injury. I remember in the 2000s mids were branded as retros on the box.

Biggest takeaway from this video was when you talked about copping what you like. At the end of the day style/footwear is subjective, or at least, it should be subjective without judgement from others. Too many times people base their style/footwear selection based on "hype," or fear from not being accepted by others in the "sneaker community" for liking/not liking a specific shoe. There`s a shoe out there for everyone yo

SJB TV it was, I was reiterating that point exactly. It should be about wearing copping what YOU like, just like D said. However, sometimes in the “sneaker community” people bash on shoes that other people may like, for several reasons including “hype” factor. The majority of sneaker world now is all about hype and resale. If someone really likes a pair of AJ1 mids, but is worried about how others may clown on them, because it does happen, they might not get that shoe. So I was agreeing with D, your style should be “subjective” and people should cop what they like without worrying about what others say.

I have a pair of the iridescent air jordan 1 fearless zoom and I absolutely love it. It's truly unique in the sense that you won't be seeing many people with those on since they were slept on during the release period and it took them like a month and a half to finally sell out. They were also on big sale upon release. I love how they change colors when you walk under a street light. I personally like the whole zoom line up in general. I like how they blend the og look with a modern touch and give each shoe it's own identity look rather than just giving it a different color combination.

I got the 1.5’s they are really comfortable and are considered an OG shoe as they come in the OG box and it was what Mike wore. I also got the rate air if you remember the promo pic with a pair of those tied around MJ’s neck in the bred color way.

People need to keep sleeping on low 1's, crazy to see what happened to Dunks. A pair of Kentucky's go for about 500$ atm..crazy

Personally I loved the fearless collection mids, almost every colourway was amazing luckily I copped a few retail, I've never understood the hate for mids they're a great mid range shoe for people

AJ 1 Highs are insanely overpriced for what you get, which is leather that's fairly mediocre. AF1's have better leather quality for half the price.

Great content! Wasn’t big on the 1s. I had a pair of extra highs years back but that was really it back then. Watching KZread reviewers a lot of them will make u think if they’re not 1 highs they’re garbage. 1s are in my top 5 and maybe that’s the reason why I don’t hate the mids I have a pair I love they are doing a lot with the colors now just wish some qualities were better

Thanks for making this video to explain it all to a beginner sneakerhead like myself. One of the artists I liked revived my high school interest in sneakers being cool (2010s thing I suppose) so I got into various hi tops like vans and doc martens along the way and returned to fulfill that desire as a 13 year old but didn't have the vocab to know and describe what I wanted. I recently got myself kids sized Jordan 1 Mid SE Orange Suede (thinking it was a high at the time or how much higher can it go?) and then Jordan 1 Retro High OG GS ‘Heritage’. Both were on sale so I felt lucky to be able to try both styles in short succession. As someone who normally wears docs, I definitely preferred the look and feel of the high hugging 'higher' up my ankle? leg? Not sure if related to how sneakerheads harp on about mid being of lower quality but with the Suede mid, it felt really stiff and the laces felt abit thinner than the highs, took a few more wears (with boot socks) to break into them whilst the high's leather felt soft enough on my first wear.

Can't understand why the AJ-1.5s aren't more coveted. Unlike a majority of hyped-up releases, Jordan actually wore them his rookie year when he injured his foot. The AJ-2 sole was allegedly more comfortable. The 1.5s in the Chicago colorway is an absolute MUST!

I always wanted to do a custom on some mids to make em look like the highs by adding a nike tag on the tongue and poking out another hole to make it 9 holes.

One Jordan 1 model i would love to see come to Fruition to the public is The Chicago 1s with the SB sole that MJ wore against the Celtics when he scored 63 points in the playoffs. and what about those flyknit versions of the OG highs? Would they be its own category or apart of the OG highs?
