I mean considering the oldest is 50 even great grandchildren are likely its just that her own children would prolly have higher ranks and it would be reasonable to even assume that some of them might try to keep their kids out of the business because they probably all recognize that Big Mom is dangerous to be around. I would imagine that many of her kids probably are much better parents then she is because Big Mom basically doesnt care about most of them at all.

Is curious how Shirohige adopt all his crew as his children, loving each one of them as they were his biological family and in other side, Big mom has a lot of biological children but doesn't care for them at all.

And Shanks and Kaido will be another duality. Kaido has meaningless subordinates who he treats poorly and doesn’t value, but can hold parties. Shanks has valued Nakama who he parties with and treats well. What’s Blackbeard gonna be like? Less brutal then Kaido, but nowhere near as familial as Shanks or WB

@@youngknowledgeseeker Blackbeard and Luffy are more fit to mirror each other. Luffy can stretch himself in any direction, Blackbeard can pull objects toward him. Luffy earned the respect and loyalty of his crew. Blackbeard got their loyalty after breaking them from Impel Down. Luffy trained himself to get stronger while Blackbeard took a shortcut and used devil fruits to become strong. Luffy deeply cares for his crew. Blackbeard, outside of the initial members, doesn't care unless you're strong (Impel Down level 6 prisoners) Lastly, both crews are relatively small, compared to WB, Kaido, and Big Mom who have an entire armada to go to war at moment's notice.

The 85 children of Big Mom show how creative oda is. These are just inconsequential characters yet Oda managed to imbue them with their own identity and characterization. They all have their own character designs that are very unique to their own.

Kaido is 59, the eldest triplets are 48; the two first met in the rocks pirates when big mom was 26 and kaido was 17 (or it was 19 i cant remember); big mom is too possessive to share a kid and kaido is too controlling to let an equal take care of his child; and finally big mom's desire for a family and kaido's respect of strength gives the two of them a sibling bond... so no big dragon kids. I shot that down early.

Given moscatto lost 40 years of his life and he already was 40 at the time, that'd put him at abt 80 years. It was stated by Oda that humans in One Piece can live up to 140 years, so it'd be assumed Moscato still has about 60 years to live

In Wano, some of the big mom pirates point out that Katakuri still outranks Perospero, and thus in the wake of big mom’s presumed death, Katakuri would be the next captain, not Perospero, so it seems that Katakuri maintains his rank. Maybe Snack was demoted because unlike Luffy, Urouge was quickly defeated, and it was decided that Snack lost to too weak of an opponent.

Yeah like honestly Big Mom to me was the most intimatinating villans because if her weird wheel she had and she even kills her own kids. Not to mention she was the biggest threat Luffy faced so far

When you realise that the charlotte kids add up an entire Attack on Titan, One Punch Man, Nanatsu no Taizai and even a Code Geass cast.

There is enough characters here to start their own anime.

Charlotte Lola is the outlier because one, she appeared way earlier than the other charlotte family members, the fact that she is a captain of another crew, and the fact she helped the straw hats at the thriller bark arc.

And she is easily impressed and one of his secondary traits is still, liar. Even if he lies less now, he still is good at making himself seem grander... or others make him look as such.

I love being french for this. For example, Amande means Almond in english, and Mondée, Hachée and Effilée are three different ways to prepare almonds (peeled, diced and sliced respectively)

So unless he got with hot giant 20 year old Linlin when he was 11 years old 😕 he’s likely not katakuri, daifuku, and ovens father, or the father of any of big mom’s oldest children. I know someone similar IRL, shes mid 20s with 8 kids last pregnancy wast twins but she aborted twins before..... so big mom is a VERY exaggerated fertile large woman.

my theories : 1. they invite someone who has the food & candy themed df to whole cake island with a sweet negotiation to gave them a better life / alliance support from big mom pirates, but the truth is they lied 2. they kill them there so after they died, soon the devil fruit will bloom in nearby island (still in whole cake island) 3. they command the entire country to search for the fruit

Had been suspicious about this. My suspicion is that every devil fruit appears closest to the places that uses stuffs that resembles its power so much? Cos big mom's always eat sweets so much, maybe those cake ingredients& sweet types of devil fruits appear by themselves just there.. in Totto Land! And maybe that's why Doflamingo easily found Ace's devil fruit cos he knows about this fact (and search it in a place of where it's likely to appear)?

I do don't think Katakura would had been demoted. I think Katakura is a special case. Just because it happened to one of big mom's kids doesn't mean it will happen to the other. He was considered as a similar as a legend in Big Mama's Kingdom.

More than likely, during the fights where she DID lose, they always avoided body shots and just knocked her flat on her ass with head shots. Save the kids the brain damage, and give it to the mom instead as a gift for her baby shower

Foreign anime fans should keep in their minds that Asians including Japan does not share most customs regarding marriage with European ones. The joke here about Pudding getting married at 16 isnt illegal in many Asian countries and THAT doesnt make it morally wrong too. Its another one of those Western ideas that you people try to make it look like it should be the norm. When its not.

She doesn't care about any of her husbands so I doubt she cares about age and probably has them marry as young as 15 considering thats the age they actually get to do stuff. Im pretty sure strusen was her first husband which in a way is kinda creepy considering he was an adult and he met her as a 6 year old.

Also dont forget about the fact that Luffy is only 19 while Boa Hancock is 31

About that whole theory of Kaido being one of Big Moms husbands, Kaido is 9 years younger than Big Mom and since she had her first kid at 18 and assuming she had at least one pregnancy every year after since Katakuri was in her 3rd-5th (Depending on when the oldest daughters where born) that would mean Kaido would have been her husband and knocked her up when he was 11-14

Such an interesting crew/family. I think it's my favorite crew so far.

The idea of Kaido being the father of Katakuri, Daifuku, and Oven is debunked. Think about it, we never bothered checking for an age difference: Katakuri and by extension Daifuku and Oven are all 48 years old and Kaido is 59.

Too bad about Melise. If she ate the Deer devil fruit it would have been amusing to see her reaction to Chopper who's the opposite xD

as for the decuplets, the only way i can fathom them is they originally fertilized in a similar manner fraternal twins would. only then to diverge into identical sets of 5 since it's not possible for identical siblings to be different sexes, meaning they'd technically count as two sets of quintuplets.

I don't think kaido is the dad of katakuri, daifuku, and oven because if you do the math kaido was 11 at the birth
