I love the fenders with the "ironed seam". Some of the BMW 328 racing cars also had that. Depended on the coach builder as well I think... ❤
So, in driving this automobile, you wouldn’t feel anymore vulnerable than you would on a motorcycle, absolutely love the analog nature of anything pre electronic, no radio, no electronic ignition or fuel control, purely mechanical.
Unless I'm completly misstaken, Dorothy Patton was a contemporary of Amelia Earharts! She was probably among the powder puffers female sport aircraft racers of the mid to late 1930s. Amelia Raced against Dorothy. Not automobiles, but aircraft. Hope this might help your provenance of your little Darlmat roadster. And I appoligize for any inaccuracys.
The two fillers are so you can breathe the tank while dumping a churn in it for faster filling.
Thats nice paintwork And the blue, special.👌 Want to see restoration. Thanks.

@@CooperTechnica Thanks👍
Worm drive steering is inferior to a Rack and Pining steering system.
The video is blank after 14:25, which was supposed to show the actual restoration process-what gives?

I just loved this. The attention to detail, finding the history and all intricate information given. The passion clearly shows. My cars are fine memory makers but to be privileged to drive such a car would make me feel the history behind the car and the people involved! Not many views yet, hope you will find your public and there will be more to come!
