Explaining Basics of Artifact in a Bot Match | Artifact Beta Gameplay
I've been very excited to play Artifact for the last 6 months or so and just recently got fortunate enough to join the alpha of the game.
Thanks to that I'm allowed to share some footage and stream the game before beta starts.
I'll be live at / teldoo explaining the game and focusing on having an instructional show, so you can enjoy the game even as someone who's new to the game.
In this video I'll explain the very basics of the game, so you should be able to follow matches decently well after watching the video.

How long is an average mulitplayer match? Looks kinda slow at begining, but it seems it rampages really fast.

I didn't really like some of the changes they made, but I'm open to try it out again in the future. Especially since some of friends are playing still

Hi teldo, the concept and gameplay of the game seem really cool, but I've heard really shitty things about this game. Specifically the monetization: 1. Base game costs 20$ 2. You can only buy packs with money, no way to get free cards 3. you can get literally useless cards (not just bad, actually useless) from packs 4. You have to pay to play competitive 5. You have to pay to play draft 6. Impossible to "go infinite" in draft due to mmr system guaranteeing a ~50% win rate, which has no payout 7. No trading confirmed, only way to get specific cards is on the marketplace where valve takes a percentage. (credit to u/sicarius6292 on r/pcgaming) Any input?

I think the monetization model isn't perfect, but they're probably going to make it better. I think they have to. They already announced that there will be free draft and draft in tournaments. And if you play above average you can gain rewards in the gauntlet and go infinite. I hope they make everything more affordable, but they also gotta be careful not to inflate the market. The game itself is great though and you get good value for $20. So if you're interested in the game I'd recommend trying it out
