I really feel sad for twice. They received a lot of criticism and hates but they still chose to show their bright side, they still chose to keep quiet or pretend that it did not affect them. I wonder how it hurts them when they are accused of copying bp, exo, snsd, bts or etc. I wonder how they feel when people said that they are untalented, can't sing or lypsinc queens. Are they depressed? Feeling lonely? Did they think about suicidal thoughts?, One of the things why I love twice is they are strong, not physically but mentally and emotionally. They did not complain of how people say horrible things to them, maybe their agency told them but still they endured the pain. Even if thrices or people thinks that they can't sing, they shouldn't go beyond the line. They are still people, humans, living being who have emotions. Twice did a lot of wonderful things but haters focused too much on their flaws. Twice whatever happens I'll be beside you! Fighting.

they get a lot of hate too :( its really sad. someone at school just today told me that on the day the Likey mv was released, this person died(mustve been famous. singer? actor?), and one of the Twice "fan" said something on the comment- something like "it was the day that Twice had a comeback, did he have to die on that day?" or something. Thats not a once. thats a thrice. also, when One More Time came out, people have been saying that the cheoro was similar to Blackpink's. Also in Signal, the members have super powers. Exo fans have saying they copied Exo. I bet now theyre going to start a whole kpop war. What's next- the BTS fans saying that Nayeon(in Likey, she made a hand sign similar to what BTS Jin did in Spring Day) copied BTS? Srsly guys? Thrice? Nissl jin-young park might be friendly to his artist but he's not the only one who runs JYPE and he's not the only one who actually trains his artists. He doesn't mind hiring people who overwork got7, overwork twice, over work Suzy, etc. All he is is just "friendly" but he's not really responsible for the safety of his trainees or artist unless it effects the money he gets or his solo music

I seriously had goosebumps throughout this video. And yes, one of the reasons why TWICE is very successful is that they're just being themselves, whether it be on a music video or in a live broadcast, you can see that they are genuinely having fun and enjoying each other's company. They've struggled a lot during their trainee days and it really helped them become into such humble and hardworking girls.

I really loved this theory (along with your other theories), and I want to add how this concept also in a way represents exactly why they are so popular. I know that a lot of people (haters especially) think that Twice are just inferior singers and dancers that are popular for being pretty. There are also some Once out there who can't accept that Twice probably will never be the best singers or dancers out there. I think that the real truth behind their popularity is the amazing image they portray of themselves. Yes, being especially beautiful does help, but what really draws fans in is how real they are in everything they do. As you said, they have found a balance between an ideal image and who they really are, and I couldn't agree more. I'm not sure if you've watched it, but in Sixteen (Twice's predebut survival show), JYP was always stressing genuine expressions beyond pure singing and dancing skill. The idea of being real I think is the reason why they are such amazing idols. Their success as just pure singers or dancers is debatable, but when it comes to being an idol group, they truly shine.

This is so true!!!! Like i dont care about those people fighting over who's more talented, who's better in dancing or performing and singing. They only see Twice as idols but for us ONCEs, we see them as our friends. They always make it seem like that. They always talk to their fans through V app, and 90% of the time without makeup. Whether they just had their photoshoots, projects, or even before performing for a concert or a music show, they would find time to talk to their fans. I also think that's one of the key reasons why they have so much fans. People just like talking about their talent and their flaws and everything they see online, but they will never know how great of a group they are especially in the fans' perspectives. Like honestly if you hate twice, try watching one of their variety show guestings or twice tv, and you'll definitely fall for their personalities.

Every hater must see this so that they can understand how they feel in the inside. Haters only see them through lenses. A message to all haters of Twice: Better think about it Twice

I think twice's choreo also have a meaning (i only find one) there's a part that said 'heart heart' after the 'dugeun dugeun dugeun' part, and the choreo for the 'heart heart' is they pointing to the bottom left corner, if you look at instagram the like button is in the bottom left corner also, so, since the title is likey maybe they point to the like button or something, i don't know... 😂😂 (it's pretty random...)

they are pointing to the heart button. at the beginning of the choreo , you can see it clearly, they replicate it. and *heart heart* probably referring to double tap. this also you can see at the beginning of choreo, when the *heartheart* part, the member that made the heart sign move up a little replicating heart sign popping out when you double taps on instagram.

I was really looking for something like this. As a fan the first time I saw the MV so glad that they stayed for these kind of concepts like joyful and colorful the usual TWICE MV I knew. But when I put the lyrics and English subtitle on I was literally triggered emotional at the same time, the lyrics showed me so much and when you listen into their other tracks the songs also has a deep meaning. Like 24/7, love line(by Jeongyeon my ultimate bias 😁), don't give up which is written by the member. This is why I love twice even more. Proud ONCE here.

Over the last two years I noticed something. They tend to release an album in the first quarter (February), end of the second quarter, beginning of the third (June or July) and the beginning of the fourth quarter (October) so it would be no surprise to me if there is a new release in February. It would fit rather well in their release schedule. (Page Two was released in April and Signal in May but they still both fit into their release window being the second quarter.)

Thats the reason i like them so much... they are so much real and being "closer" to us fans than other artists. They always open vlive to chat with fans. I mean... they open almost everyday or at least twice a week. They even open it during oversea filming or having promotion in jp. They appreciate and pay effort to fans that appreciate them. Love them so much for being real. Other artists or idols might have better talents in singing or dancing or watever so, but so what. Twice shows so much love to fans. I want to add that the rap part seems to be them actually becoming themselves and expressing what's inside their heart and then gain a sort of "liberty" and stop their struggle

From their struggles during cheer up era where they literally had no sleep for 3 days to now, they really found that balance. We had a glimpse of what this video is explaining when they cried suddenly during one of the countdowns back then. Chae being sick and them being dead tired. Im glad they choose to live by being themselves, it really makes everything enjoyable even though things get hard. Thats one of the reasons why a lot of people adore them.

I think the plain to colorful scenes also portrays what twice wants for their fans... not just about themselves. They want fans to be positive and to cheer up.. they have experienced alot of struggles before during sixteen and now as twice.. but even with the struggles we can continue getting better. Their bond and friendship with each other are just so pure and true and i think thats what get people the most. We all long for that support from each other. Dont give up Twice! Keep cheering fans 😊

It's about them carrying their problems and little by little they are solving it then they already have a answer inshort, they learned more about theirselves now, in Momo's part the BB Cream and Lipstick part I think it vents out they are not only in KPOP Industry to just show their beauty and visual so that people will LIKEY them so they have to balance theirselves and also it has connection to all the MVs. Finally someone who looks behind the pastel shades. Thrice and also Once see them like they pretend to be shining, happy and so on (only from different sides) but they are only humans. Even if you (you who read this) don't like their music, their efforts on stage or the girls for some reasons they deserve everything but no hate. Thrice can criticise them but do it in a way that doesn't hurt.

More than their songs are pleasing and catchy to the ears. Twice songs have meaning. I repeat, they have deep meaning. That if you look closely to it you will understand. People nowadays live for the likes of being liked. Even if it compromises our true self. At the end of the day, what matter most are the likes and love that come from within. Thats why their ending pose is a heart. Maybe, it means our own hearts that tell us to likey who we really are. I am so proud of twice 😭😭😭

Life really sucks not having any talent. These girls have super talents at making music and videos etc and even this guy has talent at making videos and breaking down the details of this video. I can lift weights and grow a beard but those aren't really talents and most people could do these things if they wanted. These people are so young but can display their light so easy. I hope one day i'll actually be somebody with some kind of powerful talent, but until then....i'm just the most talented dreamer and time isn't going backwards...
