@@makara2711 C is good for learning the fundamentals of computer programming, but if you want to work on actual production code C++ or C# is a better bet

@@legendsathya3041 ofcourse it's not. Its just markup that tells you how the order of layout of your element looks. You use css for styling and js for any functionality. You'll most likely end up using a framework of some kind like reactjs that fuses html with js (it's called jsx) and that's like actual programming.

When you watch a video in English, with Korean subtitles, but you speak Spanish. xD I love your videos, you have a new subscriber.

@@baotran7626 I would say C#. I recommend it to anyone new to programming as it's very easy to learn. And if you know some Java, you'll be up and running in no time. They have very similar syntax, and share many common concepts.

C a.k.a. the quick boi C++ a.k.a. C, but spicy C# a.k.a. Microsoft Java

저도 C랑C++에서 끙끙대가가 C#가지고 유니티 하러갔는데 그렇게 잘 하는 편도 아닌 제가 인터넷의 넘치는 자료를 보고 기초를 알자마자 코드 써서 퍼즐 문제도 프로그래밍할 수 있게되었어요 ㅠㅠ C랑 C++은 아직 이미지 출력도 간당간당한데 말이죠. 개발자에게 있어 정말 편한 언어가 확실한것같아요. 만들때마다 많이 많이 좋아요!

+ 1 point for C# & Unity combo since Unity is actually a C++ engine and C# is just a scripting layer on top. Better of both worlds.

Hi. I'm Korean high school 3rd grade student. In middle school, I wanted to become a programmer because at that time, I was fascinated by the Google Glass and wanted to make something like that. so I joined school programming club. In there , I learned C++. I think what I learned was only the very basic of C++ and it turned out that I wasn't good at programming and I quit learning further. Now ,4 years later from then ,I hardly remember anything and I don't want to be a programmer and I' m not sure about what I want to do but I think maybe majoring in engineering like chemical engineering will be fine. I think learning programming language can help me with my future career path somehow and also even though it cannot help me with my career, I think it will be cool to make applications or the Internet server on my own. What language do you think is the best for me considering all that? b the way, Thank you for uploading the video.

I am learning C in thin quarantine and it's very impressive what you can do, but its also a little bit annoying have to do all manually. I was tented to choose c++ instead but your video made me see the beauty on the C language. Great content by the way !!!

Just switch to C++. The manual low level stuff isn't worth the time spent there and the mental fatigue. It is also more prone to introducing unintentional bugs. In C++ you don't have to think about using strings and allocating memory for them etc. In C almost always you must be very careful when dealing with buffers (memory segments) to no get buffer overflow etc.

The best explanation of C, C++ and C# ever, simple, straight to the point, clear, in a FEW MINUTES and even funny and optimistic --> "don't forget to be happy today". Couldn't have been made better. Do you teach C#?

When you know the difference but you’re a nerd and still interested :). Great video

I started coding with Java, and when I started to learn UnityEngine, I really appreciated that C# is not that different from Java. Like in Grammar, Structure, blah blah. It helped me to quickly adapt to Unity cuz I can code C# just like coding in Java. But I can't exactly understand what is the MAIN DIFFERENCE between Java and C#.......What are the main differences between them?

Hi! Thanks for your comment, the differences are many to be honest, like the JVM and the CLR of C# but those differences are not something radical that will make you choose one over the other, I would say those languages have pretty much the same use cases except for Android apps being on Java.

C++ is more than C with classes. Yes, the creator (Bjarne S.) calls C++ the superset of C, and C++ absolutely intends to access all parts of C mostly because there are a bunch of useful C libraries then, now, and will continue to be created in the future. It is absolutely a feature of C++ to know that you can just depend on and directly call C libraries as your own because I don't know that any other language calls into C that directly (though some trivially). However, to really qualify code as C++, there are a lot of scenarios that you should be doing things in a "C++ way" instead of the C way. If you only know how to do things the C way, it's a bit deceitful to say you know C++ so well. A good example is understanding RAII and references in C++. If you don't know how and when to use them and eliminate pointer type usage 90% of the time, you're not using C++ very well and even your OOP in C++ is far from complete. C# shouldn't really be in this discussion any more than Java. Microsoft just got the name so it would seem like the logical next place to go. This didn't quite pan out as Java is still far more dominant. But neither Java or C# are supersets of C or C++ or even valid as direct "successors." They aimed to make safer languages in terms of memory, languages that run on a VM, and promote OOP to the forefront of program design. OOP bubble is subsiding now and people are starting to realize that OOP isn't the gospel of programming and there may other ways to create reusable units of code and related data that is just as sensible and safe. Rust is the best example of a language that is a next step evolution of C++ -- though not at all a superset. Maybe where Rust least deserves to be considered a successor is that it really shouldn't be taught or learned as a first programming language. Rust is a successor if you're coming from a systems programming perspective.

진짜 C는 오래된 단어로 알고 있습니다. 인터넷이 없던 시절부터 사용 할 수 있던 언어가 지금까지 쓸 수 있다는 건 정말 대단하다는 생각이 듭니다.

While C++ is a superset of C, it is not a strict superset(There are some minor things that differ in between those two). Meaning that some C code won't compile as C++ code. Also C++ is not just C with classes, matter of fact the predecessor of C++ was "C with Classes" (that being the name, it was literally C but with classes) and it was not enough so they kept adding different thing to it until it became C++. I know that all this information might not be of interest to the majority of people who for example just want a broad picture of what stuff is, but I just wanted to clarify the difference.

@@nomadcoders hi, I have a question. I have made a couple of basic games in unity 3d using C# already, but I've never used C. I wondered if there is any way to use C code in unity? Or some way of converting it? I have acquired the source code for an existing game, which is written in C. I want to know if there's any way I can load it, or even just some small bits of it, into Unity so that I can mess around with it. Also, the source code download also came with a tool to compile it all together into a ROM, which can then be loaded by an emulator. I would like to know if there is a way to compile the code manually to play in a terminal box or something, rather than making a rom file and using an emulator. Sorry if these are stupid questions, I'm very new to all of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@@hanslukistudio9665 모든 언어가 C에서 파생되었습니다. 그러므로 C언어만 잘 하면 다른 언어는 쉽게 배울수 있습니다. 문법적으로 비슷합니다... 그리고 객체지향 개념이 최초로 나온것은 C++입니다. 힘들겠지만 장기적인 계획으로 공브하셔야 합니다. 먼저 C 언어 문법 떼고, C언어를 이용한 자료구조와 알고리즘 공부하세요. 이것이 거의 끝나갈 무렵에 C++ 문법 시작하시면 됩니다. C++ 문법 떼고 난 후에 C++ 버전의 자료구조/알고리즘까지 하셔야 합니다.(STL포함) 그 다음부터는 자신이 하고싶은거 하시면 됩니다. C# 하고싶으면 C# 하시고 자바 하고싶으면 자바 하시고... 그리고 C 언어 공부하실때 반드시 웹 공부를 병행하셔야 합니다. 즉 html/CSS/js 를 C와 병행하셔야 합니다. 이유는... 나중에 알게 되십니다.^^ 한가지만 더 말씀 드리자면, C언어 공부하실때 속성코스로 하지 마시고 장기코스로 하세요. 컴퓨터 하드웨어의 구동원리나 메모리 관련 지식까지 상세하게 설명된 강의가 좋습니다. 저같은 경우엔 속성코스와 장기코스를 병행해서 공부했는데 시간이 되시면 그렇게 하는것도 상당히 좋습니다. 속성코스 마치면 빨리 다음단계(알고리즘)로 넘어갈수 있으니까... 물론 장기코스는 그것대로 끝까지 쭈욱 가야죠.^^ 알고리즘은 정렬알고리즘부터 하시면 되고 자료구조 공부하시기 전에 먼저 위키검색 하셔서 기본개념부터 잡고 시작하세요. 그럼 이만...즐공...^^

@@hanslukistudio9665 C와 C++은 절대 쉬운 언어가 아닙니다. 처음에 "Hello world!" 치는 순간 헬게이트가 열린다고 생각하시면 됩니다. 그리고 진도가 나갈수록 더욱더 지옥의 밑바닥까지 경험하시게 될겁니다. 각오 단단히 하세요...^^;;

.net c#으로 웹개발하고있는 1년차 웹개발자입니다. 국내에서는 하도 자바수요가 많아서 .net으로는 먹고살기 힘들다던데 사실인가요?.. 여기에 대해서도 간단하게 말씀 해주시면 감사하겟습니다 ㅠㅠㅠ

I never worked on a C# Korean company but I still feel confident that a C# programmer will be able to find a job easily. Also, keep in mind that C# and Java are so similar that if you know C# for example you will be able to learn Java in very very little time.

노마드코드님 이야기완 다르게 국내 기업에서 요구하는 프로젝트 수요(프리의 경우)를 보면 .net 수요... 적어요. 그렇다고 정직원 수요? .net 시장 크다고 말씀해 주실 이 있으면 누구신지 ㅋㅋ .net 개발자... 좋게 포장해서 중급 이상을 뽑아요. 뭐, 현실입니다. 반면에 자바는 초급도 많이 뽑습니다(결국 수요 문제). 나중에 자바로 갈아타시든 어떤 경위가 되시든, 지금도 아실진 모르겠지만 자바는 초급을 중급으로 둔갑시키기엔 너무 좋은 산업이라서 ㅎㅎ 고급이라고 인터뷰 보고 오시는 분들 pm 및 pl 니즈에 맞추지 못해 짤리는 분들 많이 봤고요. 해외에서 개발을 안해봐서 해외 시장은 논외지만 확실한 건 한국 개발 시장은 정말 개판이에요. 노마드 코더님 말씀에 동의하는 건 c#과 자바는 비슷하기에 하나에 정통하면 갈아타기엔 수월합니다. 다만, 유사해서 갈아타기 수월하다는 건 결국 개인의 노력과 시간이 문제겠지만요. 확실하게 말씀드리고 싶은 것 두 가지가 있는데 1. 게으른 고급 개발자는 제대로 된 중급, 아니 초상보다 못합니다. 손은 빠르겠지만 가성비 떨어져서 인정도 못받고 나이 40 중반 넘어가면 금방 도태되요. 사람 사는 모습은 어느 산업이든 비슷하죠. 2. 실력 있으면 언제 어느때든 갈아타든 뭐든!! 먹고 사는덴 지장 없어요. ps) 제가 .net 시장을 귀동냥으로 알기에 이에 대해 잘 아시는 분dl 계시면 댓글 부탁 드립니다^^
