@@Road2ListingsAcademy Kinda depends on what you count as social media, Most grey markets are findable if you know where to look and with the correct app, Most black markets however are locked behind onion links which u need a special browser for and even then if you're trying to get to the illegal forums where most criminals are you would need to get an onion link from someone on that forum which can take time but it's easier than you think. This shows that the dark web isn't all that hard to access but harder than the deep web (you can find links to deep web by searching on google) And then there are also criminals that are on telegram(An anonymous messenger app which is very popular with criminals due to the fact that it keeps absolutely 0 data and has a function to delete your whole account after a period of time including every single chat log) the illegal parts on telegram are easier to access mostly markets but there are also chats where basically they "expose" other people by posting all of their information to people in the chat (This is illegal since it's counted as doxxing) moreover with the correct contacts you can go even deeper (generally after getting to know people in those group chats since atleast 1-5 people have connections with the darker part) I'm speaking the absolute truth here since I have seen quite a load of stuff on telegram that if it went public it could lead to quite a load of arrests. The grey markets or black markets whatever you want to call them on telegram contain quite the amount of things u can buy which ranges from drugs, firearms and fake money to even stolen credit cards or virtual credit cards, id cards, stolen jewelry and other kinds of stuff. So in conclusion it purely depends on what you count as social media. Even criminals that use explosives in one way or another use telegram since you can actually buy explosives on there.

It only costs around 11.00 for a P.I. to run the background check from any of the available databases. I use TLO and I charge my clients under 40.00 if they're repeat return business (I.E. arpartment complexes,small business business doing hirings, etc.) I do not do them for individual people.

Tricky. A connection at immigration or endless FB searches. A good PI might get sucess but alot of money. Do you know where they arrived at? NY, Chicago, Miami? Narrow down a bit.

Something like that you probably wouldn’t be able to find that’s too little of information. I work as a private investigator out in Vegas and typically the first thing we do when we’re in taking a case from a client is going over all the information they have on the client. What you described was giving absolutely no information you’re giving a general date of someone from a different country from nearly 40 years ago and not even knowing their full legal name which they could’ve easily changed if they became a United States citizen or they could’ve moved back out of the country. If I was to take out a case like that I would probably be honest with my client and tell them it’s probably not possible to find them instead of charging the client for a job that I know probably would never get completed
