Hi Ben! Once again, I'm blown away by another amazing video. Your idea of using the fiber glass pen is pure genius. When it comes to repairing water-damaged boards, which is a common issue I encounter, I've found a helpful trick. Before wicking off the old solder, I like to go over the pads first with fresh solder. This technique may not always guarantee success, but I've noticed that if I solder the pads first and make them really nice and shiny, then desolder them, they often come up perfect without the need for further cleaning. Of course, this approach doesn't work in every situation, especially with severely damaged pads. That's where your technique with the fiber pen comes into play! Thank you, as always, Ben.
