I'll just say I hope he's right. It honestly sounds like a Homer pick. I think for OU to go 9-3 is still a bit of a Homer pick, but that's what I'm gonna go with, regardless.

I think we are going to surprise a lot of people just like we did in 2000. Will that be undefeated, highly unlikely in the new eSECpn conference and with OU's schedule. Which is the second hardest schedule in the country they say behind Florida. Unlike texsa, OU doesn't have the privilege of playing the 4 bottom feeders like texsa does. Florida, Arkansas, Miss St, and Vanderbilt. But I could see us making the eSECpn CCG. And getting OUr first playoff win.

Bama is still wildly talented. Tennessee/Heupel is a weapon. Ole Miss has high talent this year through the portal. Auburn/ Freeze are slippery. It’s gonna be hard.

Remember they still have to play OU as well 👍🏾 auburn has been down awhile now and new staff..ole miss has a 2s and 3s issue as in lack of depth...bama is bama bit without saban...tenn is tenn in a year that they will be down, they're an every other year team! Won't go undefeated, but will definitely surprise the world with our schedule and success! Boomer!!

What 4 games do you think OU loses?

I'm a huge sooner fan, I grew up watching bob stoops and co. I think Texas pops off just as much as we do. They have a great roster and a good coach, I still know we stomp them into the dirt but I expect 10-2 from them

One thing we are not taking into consideration with this type of schedule is health. Right now we are assuming our full roster is fully healthy all year long. That just won’t be the case. Obviously towards the beginning of the year most teams are mostly healthy, but if our key guys get banged up and their not so key guys get banged up we can post a bunch of losses. I think 9-3/8-4 is probably realistic. Don’t get my wrong, I would love to win a natty, but until we are 100% two deep everywhere not just at some spots we are still a few years off.

I always find it hilarious when people make statements OU was great in big 12 but in SEC they're nothing. First let me say everyone needs to calm down with taking the Sec and seeing it as the SEC Monster. Are they good yes, are we good yes. But second and final Oklahoma has a history no one else has. From 1928 in the Big 6 to our exit this year from the Big XII we have dominated every conference we have ever been in. Through every change that has ever occurred Oklahoma has been semper gumby and came out on top. This is just another adjustment that will need to be made in the engine of our SOONERs. I'm not worried about our venture into the SEC, I'm not concerned about the NIL, and I'm not concerned about the fair weather sports media. We are born from people who snuck in and took over other people's land and the SEC will be just another piece of property that will be ours. So sit back enjoy the summer and relax before the season and once it starts stay late and be loud. BOOOMER SOOOONER MF'ERS!!!!

Oklahoma has been activated , we are gonna go off and be a buzz saw thru the toughest schedule in football.

10-2 for Oklahoma early on the predictions.

We usually choke on an easy game (or two) that we should have won... which will it be this year? (Or will the defense prevent that?) Not to mention, we've got a new starting QB, that's a LOT of pressure JA...

I don't agree. I think 9-3 is more likely. I think we will drop at least one of the Tennessee/Texas/Alabama "hone" games and at least two of the away games. 9-3 would be an amazing year with this schedule. Could they go a tear through the SEC and win every game a la 2000 as many has suggested. 100% yes, they could, but I just don't think it's very likely. I would love to be wrong.

Welp, since Texas is not a "hone" game, there goes that. You overestimate Tennessee, Sooners 37 -23 easily. 10 -2 if they slip up in Baton Rouge

I do a lot of traveling watching football college in high school and I'll tell you right now.Who the top 2 teams could possibly be and that will be Oregon & oklahoma And I also think Georgia We'll be up there as the top 3 teams in the nation at the end. Our offensive line is going to be awesome and I say that because I know that our offensive line coach is really, really good. He's got this under control. There's a lot of time before the season starts and all of the pieces are falling in together in good places.And I believe oklahoma will surprise all the other teams in the nation and I believe we Can win just about all of our games? There may be 1 or 2 in that might slow us down. But I think our defense is going to dominate everyone guaranteed.

I am not making excuses for our loss in the Cotton bowl in seasons 2005 2006 2009 2013 2022 but to say OU lost it's QB in the prior season due to running out of elgibility, or a injury in a game prior to getting to the Cotton bowl, or a injury in the RS gsme it's self. Need to be more consistent. We obviously lost to OSU and Kansas but the SMU, UFC, and BYU games probably loses as well in the SEC.

I'll put a lot of money on that.Oklahoma loses 2 games and the only games they lose against will be old Miss and Missouri all the other games on the road We be very close, but we will win against everybody else.And good things will happen at the end of the season

Any concerns that Oklahoma plays down to the level of competition on the road? We've had trouble with this in the past.
