What is the difference between this and the DPS? Even with stern drive I can rotate and move the boat right?

Now can I have this on a car and maybe a plane please

Hello Keith, The Assisted Docking feature is an add-on to our existing Volvo Penta IPS System. It’s not yet on the market, but is being rolled out gradually across our IPS range in the coming months. Assisted Docking is an add-on to our existing Volvo Penta IPS system, and our starting target is new boats with our entry level IPS package. You can read more about Assisted Docking here: www.volvopenta.com/assisteddocking/

Hi Camilla, our joystick functionality is available with our DPI driveline. However, Assisted Docking is not yet available for use with our DPI driveline. Kind regards, Volvo Penta

At the moment, Assisted Docking is available for yachts powered by Volvo Penta IPS from 2012 and onwards. Is this also available/ suitable for the (new) Volvo Penta Sterndrive D4-DPI and D6-DPI engines, or only for the IPS engines?
