Experimental strings for the Aquilastring Shortbassone

Here is the first test with out Shortbassone. The scale is of 60 cm.
These strings are really heavily charged with copper powder.
Which is the difference than our traditional stock strings for this instrument?
1) they are louder ( more than the stock strings always charged with copper powder)
2) they do not produces any 'sausaging' effect
3) They are not sticky under the fingers
4) they are thinner than before: the 4th string is of 3.50 mm only. With the standard polyurethane rubber strings the gauge is around 5.0 mm
5) This instrument is so laud that you can employ it alone (without AMP) supporting 20-25 ukuleles playing togheter
6) the sound is very similar to the doublebass
7) they has more sustain
8) they do not stick on the nut like the traditional ones
They are still not in the market (let us the time to finish any further test)

Thanks for great strings! I'm playing red thunders on a ukulele bass now, and am happy with them. Now I am wondering, like Mr Tom, if these strings would work on my uke and if so, how they would work compared to the red thunders?

hello Hasse and Tom: we have done just a very few tests so it is too soon. However they perform a LOT better than the standard Thunder reds for the traditional bass ukuleles. facts are that we are thinking if it is not the case to employ in the Thunde reds sets this new version instead the traditional one. Aquila has just re opened after the long lockdown : after a while we will reconsider the whole situation. Thanks!
Will the Short-one basses come from factory with these strings in the near future?

Will they work with the Ukulele Bass? I would be happy to test them out if the scale length is short.
