So nice of you feeding the one-eye dog, he was so happy...and mommy got some of the chicken pau too. Awesome video despite the wet weather...Note and Flora had the same weather experience there early this year, they probably laugh when they see this episode. Cheers buddy!

Epic views and those puppies were so cute . That climb is going to be awesome. I’m finding this series so inspiring and rewarding and I will definitely try to get there in the near future.

Thanks very much for showing the War Memorial Paddy. I have read a little about the Borneo death marches but didn't know about the Memorial. The six that did survive did so because they attempted to escape but the others were forced to endure the conditions and didn't survive. I am sure Mr Doyle was a relative somewhere down the line, very beautiful views of the mountains, but sometimes it looked like my brother in law's cattle farm in Australia.

Loved the cultural village. It may be touristy but it's also educational. We visited the one in Sarawak and really enjoyed it.

Sabah is indeed one of the beautiful state in msia.msian went there to enjoy the cold weather n climb the mount kinabalu.

Catching up! I love when there are places where people dress up and act out how things were 'back then' - very cool! They seem to do a good job representing their people. 😄 I'm excited to see this trek up the mountain! She looks like a pretty tough one to climb!

I’ve went on an adventure in kundasang and i miss the place a lot. Good memories, nice views, such a nice place to relax and unwind. Thanks for the video paddy, watching this makes me wanna go back soon!❤

I am so glad you decided to explore Borneo as well. Was hooked up with your videos from the very tu beginning. I visited Matterhorn in 2013 and Kinabalu only last year. What a shame for me being a Malaysian. Enjoy Sabah & the rest of Borneo Paddy.

Wow, that war memorial was a nice surprise. I had no idea Borneo had anything to do with the war. That local tribal cultural experience looked amazing. Always like learning new things. I had a blow dart as a kid. Glad you kept your head mate.

They were Japanese prisoners of war forced to walk hundreds of kilometers without food. It was documented in the history of Sabah

There are also two or three Former British North Borneo Governors who died young and burried at one of the Anglican Cemeteries in KK.

You must keep in mind that climbing the mountain is tiring, the air is thin and cold, and the weather is unpredictable when it rains and becomes cold, so you must be prepared.

Well like in real life we saw who was in charge during the dog feeding. Momma always comes first. Glad you made the best of the bad weather.

If you are interested the rice cake they make is called Kui Jala - I've tried to recreate it in the UK but never made it as good as they do in Mari Mari

Paddy, do come to Sarawak Borneo too. You can do it via Brunei. Start in Miri City, Bintulu, Sibu than the capital city Kuching. Very much similar to Sabah being the closest neighbour.

Nice village and people. The ride through the area at the end is amazing I love it. ❤

Like alpine alps of italy, swiss, france, there is AMS - acute mountain sickness. You need to take pills. Mount kinabalu is 4095m,. Less than matterhorn.

If not because it is flat on top, it would have been higher than Swiss matterhorn.
