There is some modded servers that are ukr vs ru. They are tons of fun. Crazy I'm playing a game about a war going on tho.

Lacks some friendly fire and marching into pointless columns to wait for hours for the commander to show up. Also, no calls from mama asking where is the money. And that chechen war veteran somewhere in the background also missing.

The Z refers to "zapad", which means "west" and refers as a tactical grouping. Saying that it got political reference is the same as saying that the chevron used by US cavalry troops to refer to squadrons is affiliated with Bush or Obama That's incredibly stupid.
