Y'know, I've been praying and praying for a revelation of God's love for me- I've been listening to Andrew's teaching on As I Have Loved You, and I understood it intellectually. But this teaching.... I see now that the way Jesus dealt with pain, condemnation by the world, sin, and just horrible circumstances was by looking at *me*! ME! So what do I do to deal with the same things? Look at HIM. *That's* revelation of His love for me. I thank God and I thank you all for this. Thank you so much

Jesus made a choice for me , took on my separation from God for me to be United with me. That’s Love
When he said horizontal and vertical, I saw the cross ❤ love and faith working together. How do I know God loves me: ❤Christ died for me on the cross ❤ He gave his only son Jesus ❤ He laid down his life for me ❤ Jesus suffered, wounded, bled & endured all for me ❤ He was left in the cold ❤ Jesus was nailed and hung ❤ acknowledged his love & suffer for me ❤ he loves me as much as he loves Jesus ❤ look at the cross

I'm confused. I tried looking it up, but I'm still not clear. I understand that John was a beloved disciple and was there at the crucifixion, but the only disciple I remember following Jesus was John the Baptist, his cousin and who was beheaded by Herod. So, is St. John the one who Rick is speaking of and when did he start following Jesus? Thank you and looking forward to the Gospel Conference next month in Orlando! Stacy

Hi Stacy, John the Baptist was the cousin of Jesus and was beheaded at the start of Jesus’ ministry, so was never a disciple of Jesus. The John who wrote the gospel of John and 1, 2, 3 John epistles and also Revelation is the John who Pastor Rick talked about. Hope that helps.
