They are 100 % worth every penny I was running two sets of the 6x8's and they kept up very nice with my 6 crossfire 12's

I’ve bought 3 pairs of these over the last couple of years and they are bright but overall better than most speakers twice as much. They are pleasant to listen to on all kinds of music. I don’t believe Skar actually put much r and d in these but they definitely struck a home run for the price

Sounds good and loud qhen you face the speaker at the screen or recording device. When the speaker is face upwards and towards you it sounds bad. To give us the best sound possible hold speaker towads us for a little during high and lower volumes. Great content

Haven't seen you do a multiple speaker comparison test in quite a while, let's see another 4-6 speaker comparison with some 6x9's or 6.5's

Skar audio in my opinion is amazing, they not only have great customer service but they also have really good quality speakers for really good price, I’ve put my own sound system in my daily and it’s LOUD. Total of 8 speakers in the cabin (6x8 RPX68s) 2 on each door of my little ford focus. And a single 12inch sub (plan on changing to 2 subs). I also contacted them about a sub for my component speakers and they recommended the Skar Audio RP-75.4AB 500 Watt Full-Range Class A/B 4 Channel Car Amplifier so i connected each pair to its own channel. All together this COMPLETED my system and its really loud and sounds amazing all just for $620 where as in other places you’d be spending upwards of even 1k for single sub and amp

Another great video👌🏿 can you review ds18 carbon fiber sq 6x9 and 6.5 next please. Maybe put them against pioneer pro 6x9 and ds18 pro 6x9 as well 🤞🏿

What size spade is the negative terminal?

Just grabbed the tx65 and tx69 for my 05 Corolla. One of the back speakers is on its way out. It's starting to make that blown speaker sound. Stock speakers so these should be a huge upgrade! My car has a pioneer head unit in it that was installed already when I got the car. Can't wait to hear it with new speakers! Not looking to bump just looking for better, clearer, louder sound. I'll probably upgrade the head unit soon. I have a new dual head unit but its just a cheap one from Walmart. So I haven't bothered hooking it up. Thanks for the video!

Have two RPX 6x8 coming in two days. Just hope on they get louder than the factory 6x8 did. My two 12's muffle all my highs.

I bought them with out seeing a review glad they seem way louder Treble wise, Started with a sKar zvx-8, Now I got 44ah of lithium bank sKar VXF-12, sfb5k, all the lithiums where so I could support the 5k on the stock 90amp Alt, but once you start spending on that audio equipment you keep going wanting more

Man if this ain’t the truth I got the evl bass package don’t even get it hooked up till the 15th of this month and have already purchased two sets of the Spx-65c component speakers along with the rp-75.4ab 500 watt amplifier to go along with them smh that ain’t even all don’t get me started on electrical things lol 😂

What the name of the second song

So I have 2 sundown sa 12’s in my trunk both my front door speakers came blown. Would you recommend replacing them with these speakers or would you recommend another speaker. Also looking to replace the 6x9s in the back. I’m not going to be powering them with an amp for right now until I upgrade my alt.

these would probably be the best option for the money. Bought 2 pairs and they scream off an aftermarket radio.

If you are running powered subs then you need to get at least a small amp for the scars cause they will not be able to be heard thru that bass unless you crank them and that will blow them. Too little power is what blows up speakers

I wish you had a 6.5 and a 6x9 box to drop them in so you can get a better idea of what your hearing. No baffle, means we only go off what you say.

Uncle mike is speaking the truth stop 🛑 smoking 🚬 and you will save a lot of money 💵 I was able to quit and now I can buy nice things 🙂

Have a question what 6x9 and 6 1/2 would you recommend that sounds good with good bass. They'll be having around 100 watts rms. I've been going back and forth with multiple different speakers. Just can't decide. And help would be appreciated

I see people calling them "loud speakers" .......... Why? Im looking for a good Mid range speaker, I listen to Rock & metal & classic rock. I dont want something that has no bass or too peaky . Also whats that fuse looking thing between the terminals ?? is it to block bass?? It needs some mid-bass. would sound thin without Midbass.

I'm curious if you had a choice between the jbl gx628 and these skar which one would you choose

you should make a box to test your speakers injust something with the alligator leads ready and just drop it in and out. Folks could really tell then. honestly they all sound like crap outside in the air

I'm running alpine type r's. Any other speaker you consider that may go against the type r's? Also what the best 4 channel amp you recommend 100RMS & up. Thanks Boss!!

I agree.. you have to set gain on your amp so that its set low enough that at the highest volume you deck will ever be..still isnt clipping the speaker...close but not distorting at all. This saves your speakers from blowing.

Can that Bass filter be taken off if it isnt bassy enough?>

Its prob not a bass filter..its a passive crossover that decides where the tweeter stops and woofer begins handling the lower frequencies

Is better than kicker, Kenwood blaaa blaaaa,good speakers very strong I recommended

kicker sound better under small pawer Skar opens up when you AMP them so if you have Amp then Skar

i just installed a pionner DEH-970 i just got from japan....going to 4 of these sitting on my dining room table......for my second ride...no amp......should be good...nice...........$350 stereo,$112($28 EACH :o ) for 4 of these....ok cool.

Better the magnet is bigger and handle more power but ct sounds meso out beat this

Loud tinny like old sparkomatics was..... and really a cricket design..from 80s and 90s...I DO prefer a softdome, titanium, airspring Boston acoustic type tweeters.....BULLETS ARE EAR BLEEDERS... TOO HARSH FOR ME

Mike Baby, they ain't gonna sound right without an enclosure.

You cant judge a speaker sitting on a table open air..none of the bass characteristics can even happen nor can the tone be heard properly. Not a good test method. Get a small enclosure for it and then you can hear what it will sound like.
