Beautiful machine, I have been a operator for over 40 years and bleed Deere blood. In my opinion they are the smoothest machines to operate!!!

Nice 210, I bought 2 from Stribling a 2019 and a 2021. My operator twisted the stick on the 19 model land clearing. Bought a 21 model and it came from the Stribling rental fleet with just over 1000 hours on it, on delivery I was looking at the bucket and sure enough the stick was twisted. Over 70K each to replace ! My point is be careful if you use your 210 for land clearing, there is definitely an issue with the 210 stick design, particularly with a hydraulic thumb. Upon further research this is not an uncommon issue. You don't see that problem with equivalent CATS.

That progress link geometry on that thumb is terrible and makes that thumb in the way. Can’t be full stick out and dig on flat ground.

Looks like Deere screwed up with that thumb attachment. That thumb will be more of a problem than a solution. I suspect this machine will be getting a new thumb soon.

May i ask. I know that Hitachi and deer have split up since a while back. But why dos deer still have the same layout as hitachi now. Especially in the cabin area. Sems to me like they were living of Hitachi.. Are maybe Deer coming out with any of their own design model soon ? why don't you have traction control on the rollers instead of driving with the pedals forward/back
