We were in Kanab, Utah recently for a few weeks and found so many things to do and see, we thought we'd put together a Living with Rob Update from Kanab Utah.
While In Kanab for Christmas, we did set up and used the Winnebago 2108 DS FLX to do some serious dispersed camping otherwise known as boondocking.
We spent 2 weeks in the area with the kids for Christmas and while there we visited a number of my favorite spots. In this video we are going to show you some of them.
Included are
Downtown Kanab
Deer Trap Mountain trail in Zion National park
The Coral Pink Sand Dunes and the State park
The Buckskin Gulch Slot Canyon hike via the Wire Pass Trailhead
The Yellow Rock trail accessed through the Cottonwood Canyon road running north off of Hwy 89
Also, we spent the last night doing some sunset flying and photography over the Paria or Pahreah Townsite. This is an OLD townsite set up by the early Mormon settlers which eventually became an almost mini Hollywood related to filming Western style movies.

Hey Patrick! Thanks for the invite. It's not going to work out from a timing standpoint, however, we are going to spend some time in that range area in March to do a number of the hikes in the region. Let's stay in touch. Drop me a note rob@livingwithrob.com

You r so correct; Kanab is a great base to get to some great hikes and adventures. We didn’t go down to the Paria townsite until our 4th visit to the area and I couldn’t believe how colorful the rocks/hills were! Your video sure highlighted the colors and the beauty! We haven’t done yellow rock but hope to some day. The North Rim makes for a great day trip from Kanab. We did Observation Point from the east side area; sounded like in the same area u went for the hike you did. Enjoyed your video and your info!

Love the video shots. Would appreciate a video on how you manage off grid (water, trash, waste) for such epic stays.
