Reminds me of the very first videos along the coast at the festive 500. Basically, I wanted to say: I also like the less complex videos from everyday life, you can identify with them, even if you don't have millions or sponsorship contracts that make it possible flying around the world promoting the latest stuff and attending all the big events... keep it up

Mug in or out? Out for the looks and that bikepacking feeling. Just be aware that when riding through area's with a lot of sheep or cows, the bacteria of the poop don't wash of that easily. Love your video's!

Nice trip, I recognize Goïngarijp, village where my father grew up. On the beach (4:10) school taught children to swim. At the time (1950s) the smallest school in the Netherlands with a maximum of 15 students over all school years.

Maybe a travel/sleeping in weird places inspiration tip there are quite a lot of onderduikers holen in the netherlands. I use them every now and then traversing the netherlands. Most of them are in beautiful places.

Hey...very nice video, I enjoy it a lot. A new option for a microadventure, for couple of days la Rochelle y France, next to Bordaux it could be a great option. It's an island wich could be done in 2 days. 🤷♂️

SeaToSummit do collapsable silicone cups which are reasonable alternatives to rigid mugs... but the rigid mugs are steezy touring vessels. yolo.

Very nice video as always. Is riding on the beach allowed in the netherlands ? Ive seen you doing it in more then one video but can`t find anything official on the topic. I am in Sint Maartenszee for a week in October and would really like trying it out but only if its allowed.

Regarding mugs and anything else in bikepacking…if it works for you it’s correct. That said, a ‘ride beyond crew flask on the fork is VERY correct.

ik kom uit nederland het is niet legaal om te overnachten in het drenkenlingehuisje eigenlijk. ik hoop dat jullie genoeg hebben onderzocht of dat jullie het hebben na gevraagd of het mag, maar ik weet het al wel vrij zeker dat dit illegaal is. ik heb een expeditie gedaan en ben er geweest en toen had ik gevraagd of het mocht. maar natuurlijk mag dat niet want dit is een monument. maar alsnog een mooie nolstalgische video!
