@37:42 The shopping center has a path entrance on its north side facing towards the road there, you could probably run a path from that entrance parallel to the boulevard under the path-overpass, going to the right to give good access to buildings on the far right side that hug the boulevard.

Very nice video. Don’t forget about the heat. Four extra large buildings will definitely overload the system.

Thank you jerry! I was curious what the limit on heat. Can the small heating plant support the four buildings I just need another heating exchange? Or do I need another heating plant?

That new shopping and res zone at the end of the episode wrecks the rail plans pretty good 🤣 I would have laid down the rail first, then built the pedestrian overpasses to go over both the boulevard AND the rail lines, then built the new city expansion on the other side of that. it is easier to plan around the rail than to try and shoehorn it in after everything else has been built.

Yeah I made mention to it in the video lol. I think in the most recent episode I find a good work around!

@42:57 If you flip the meat locker and the small warehouse, you can fit them both together with both having a shared road entrance and utilize space better. The way you are currently laying them out, the road has to wrap around the warehouse for the meat deliveries to reach the meat locker. the way you laid out the roads to feed this, uses a lot of space that could be for other things. Also, don't forget that at some point, those roads will be one way, so you will need to be able to access them from both directions.

Enjoyed your vid, you may want to bite the bullet and add the next bus stop so you can grow and not have to try and fight the walking distance so much, just a though.

I think it is good to start planning the rail lines now, while everything else is still using a small footprint. Rail is something you want to build around, rather than try to fit in retroactively. Even if you are not going to start building the rail for a while. If you know where the tracks are, you can plan bridging roads over it, and or where to put factories etc. Also, don't run rail around the rail construction office, build the rail construction office on it's own spur line.

I’ll look to plan out the rail system and not build it until I have more money, cause you can see that I completely forgot about the previous plans and our stuff where the rails where supposed to go!

Salute Braave, it's tempting to build everything but don't build something that require heavy costs (workshop) you still have time default cars are repaired at 50%, for buildings it's 10-15 years to repairs, it's not the time now, invest in construction industry at least in bricks & concrete, this will decrease expansion costs - prefabs are locked behind research and they unlock better quality living houses:) it's good to have them. I suggest also investing in easy money making industry like brewery, food and maybe meat. It's always good at beginning to invest into farm cause there working only machines and you have your own crops for food, booze, meat and fabric industry. Then you can expand into expensive heavy industry & your desired trains :) cheers

I make an investment into farms. Unfortunately, we are going to need to take our first loan. Hopefully we can quickly pay it off!

You are definitely not maxing out your shopping center. You do not need to build another shopping center. At least not yet. I do not know for sure what is causing the starving issue, but it isn't that the shopping center is full. You may need to drop a save, find a person who is starving and fallow them for a week or something to see why. Maybe also open the shopping center window to see if there is some moment where the number of workers just randomly plummets or something, but it looks like you regularly have 30-40 open spots for shoppers, so I doubt that is the problem. Maybe there is a building whos footbaths are just a few meters too long to reach the store? If so, then upgrading a footpath would fix the problem. I think a residential building can't reach the shopping center. Looking at the list of reasons people are unhappy it is , starving, no meat, no clothes and no electronics. That suggests they can't reach the shopping center.

Built a new one anyways. Everyone can reach the bus stop so they should reach the shopping center. Regardless, we have two now (no need for another for awhile) and it seems to be removing the issue

@Braave_ you should still go back to an old save, and find your starving people and just follow them for a week, or even a month of game time, and see why they are not going. Shopping.

If you really need more roubles you could import steel with dollars and export in roubles. It’s kind of a scam way around but if your close to bankruptcy it’s a idea

off, that is a money loser. You can't really bring in enough steal to make that worth it. Plus then you will have spent ALL your petro-dollars. Better to take out a loan. Plus that road will be super, super, super long. It would take ages to move steal from NATO to Warsaw Pact borders.
