Expanding My Tiny LEGO City
In this video I challenged myself to make a 16x16 version of the LEGO Bookshop. I also added a park, two Monkie Kid buildings, a trash collection area, and a construction site to my LEGO City.

It's crazy how well you've shrunken those modulars while still maintaining some of the interior details. Nice work

Thanks!
Glad that you continue with the small builds, it is becoming a real city now with both sides. The park looks good and I like bench 1 because it let some light through.

This was such a fun video! Loved all the new areas you’ve added to the city!!! The use of sets from other lines is so much fun, and the shrunken Bookshop looks FANTASTIC!!! As far as the bench design goes, I think I prefer option 1! 😁

Been waiting for a new update on your tiny city! Glad to see you’re continuing it! I think this is such a fun way to better your building skills and learn new techniques and I love the outcomes of all these shrunken down versions. Excited to see more of this!

Thanks! feels good to be back and working on it!
I love your city, and the park in particular is incredible! As far as benches go, I prefer the contrast of the black/brown combo, though both look good.

Thank you! The park is my current fave section
I love that you shrink the width and depth of the buildings, but keep a lot of the height... it looks fantastic!! 😊

thank you! That's mostly because i still want to use the door and window pieces - make a weird scale that kind of works
ooo I really love the park!

I always feel I get more than just 'lego' content from you Claire...most often, I come away having learned a little more about architecture and being someone who is a 'city builder wannabe' that is of great value to me. I also enjoy listening to your thought process and figuring out the constraints of your 'miniaturization' of LEGO modulars. Love the construction site too - construction vehicles and workers are my fave elements to have in a city so I was happy to see that become a thing and develop in your city. Regarding the choice of benches, number 1 is my fave - I have a thing for 'stuff' made of iron and that one has a 'sturdy look' of a bench made from an wrought iron frame. Already looking forward to the next one 😃

Cool idea and nice job. I'd recommend stacking the Daily Bugle sign so it's on two separate lines with the bugle in the middle. It could make a big improvement 👍👍

Yayyyy! You are back with the small Lego City! I love this, I like it more than a regular sized city. Love the park! I like both benches because they serve different purposes. What I would like to see? Maybe a museum would be a good building eventually?🤔 or maybe some Ninjago? IDK, but whatever you are doing I really enjoy it! Keep em coming, I really enjoy your videos and how you explain what you do.

Nice to see this series continue! My vote is for bench type 1 and I also like that black border you added to the side. Is that done with SNOT bricks or technic bricks/pins?
@ThePlasticArchitect

Thanks! I did it with a combo of snot and technic bricks, pins, plates and tiles - it was a nice way of hiding the super colorful MILS plates below

i love your videos! i like all of the different builds that you make especially in the city, what kind of tips would you give to someone who would want to shrink down other sets?
@ThePlasticArchitect

Glad you like them! I would chose a scale that you want to go down to and then just start playing with sets - some of the 3 in 1 houses are great places to start.
Nice, are you planning on doing the assembly square next?
