A word of advice for this series is to try and remember history. Historically the U.S. boomed economically before trains through steamships and canals. I imagine that you could use the great lakes for some really good efficiency.

Yeah I was really hoping to see some boat action
Not shipping the food to to the cities means you’re leaving money on the table. And your plant won’t grow if it doesn’t ship.
Great series, yes you can get a mod for the signals and set how far apart you want them also you can get a mod called parallel tracks that lay double tracks at the same time and you can set the gap between them. Another good source of income is a little passenger train between Tampa and Florida because they will travelling the road as you connected for the food.
"Criss-cross" is fairly close to what they're called. I work for the railroad and we call those sections of track "crossovers" where trains can go from one parallel track to another.
Very excited for the series. I think that despite being boring, it will be worthwhile to focus on a single area/supply chain so you can cut down on your ongoing infrastructure costs. The midwest grain/food lines aren't super exciting, but Minneapolis, KC, Chicago, and OKC all have a production plant AND local demand for food. Easy money right there and that food can be taken east and west to other cities.
Just found this and your channel. I will watch until the end, so keep them coming please!!
"It doesn't hurt to have more signals" , Me: "Yes it does!, more in maintenance costs!?"
That one log producer can probably support multiple trains on its own, why dont you just bag line 4 and prioritize the shorter line 3 until you need the extra production?
I love this series already we want more 😍
50:56 when you added more carriages the train condition became poor which will slow the train speed , you need it to be mediocre at least

Thats horse power
If you will re-route the log train w/ a cargo station in Toronto, you can drop machines there and make some serious $$$. That is after the stell is up and running. I am enjoying this.
Can you link the map?
"I'm thinking 2 steps ahead." Literally 20 seconds later: "I'm thinking 10 steps ahead rn"
I Just found this and Im already hooked I watched until the end, so keep them coming please!!
I started laughing so hard when he put the wrong thing on the train
It bothers me that the Great Lakes aren't connected. IRL that iron ore up north would travel by ship to Lake Erie.
Perhaps it's not a good idea to pair the signals at junctions, It could lead to trains queuing on the junction, Waiting for a clear signal and blocking the tracks. Maybe best to only place signals on the entrance tracks not the exits as well. 🤔
How’s we get this map please?
There is a mod called autosig which auto matically spaces your signals out when you place them on the track it helps with saving time placing all the signals
Pls keep posting ur number one youtuber
In regards to making a through line at the first log station, you can pull the third track (the one that actually stops at the station) all the way to the far through track so it crosses the inner/middle track. Then you can click and select the crossing. It pops up with an option of making it a slip crossing. This means that trains can either turn or go through. You can also do similar with the machine station at Detroit (but in that case, both lines that stop at the station cross the middle line - make the merger and the "criss-cross" junction one-and-the-same). It saves a lot of space (and headache). I'm looking forward to watching more of this series! Keep 'em coming!
Great series pls more
We need next episode and we need it ASAP
A “criss-cross” as you call it is similar to what we call them here in the US. We call them crossovers which do the same function
Great series, more please!
Easy way to increase the horse grain to food, move the truck loading closer to the dropoff point, right now they have to drive by the plant wasting driving time Keep em coming!!!!

they are paid by distance so farther away is better, unlike real life.
I want more videos of this series
I agree with others... MORE, GIVE ME MORE!
"I'm stupid" Beep Beep 34:00
This is the Stuff we need more of this The bus company is ok but i like this more tbh
More of these please!
you got me hookeddd
You could deliver the machine parts to Detroit by truck, the same for food in Kansas City.
is there like a product hub where you can run trucks from the wood places and drops them at a hub where the train picks it up from the hub? saves money on tracks and time etc when the wood places are so close together
I can’t wait for the next episode I hope soon please
It feels like the Kansas City line has way too many signals given they are 3 grand a pop.
Nice vid bro
I've made that mistake sooooo many times. its a classic
lights should be placed based on how long the trains you want to run are. so they can fit between the lights.
Couldn’t you have saved a load of money by just making a few sidings rather than running parallels the entire route?
Create city to city transport system using trams
7:21 I was starting to get worry when he says that he's thinking 10 steps ahead as usual which in the end always ends in misjudgements and wasting resources by changing what he has done before in the next or later videos. 52:39 Did anyone just notice what happened??? Is that a real train should behave??? No wonder he's losing money faster than earning it. Mainly because of his poor judgement in building train tracks

well, seeing that the train took 2 whole days to just stop, i think it's pretty ok 😂

Meanwhile everyone living in Kansas City is getting 5 loafs of bread for free a week because they're getting more wheat than they know what to do with and not exporting anything
Hey seniac, seattle is in Washington state, it’s like how London is in the country of England within the uk

You're losing a lot of money to signal upkeep costs. You can probably space them out significantly on the grain line.
Now for the impatient wait for the next video
Canect the food line to the city it will increase production and increase profits
Part 3 Please😊😊
More plz and first
You can do tunnel on the coal Line
Agghhhh my name is seniac...... It will be the opening every video when they come out? 🤣
Do you have a list of mods
"boeing in washington or seattle" same place mate, washington is around seattle

I did. Love me please csnt find a place to rent i pa so i moving to a kther state :)
How did you get a map this large? My maps are MUCH smaller.
Those sharp turns that make your trains louse speed made me sad :(
Yeah there is a problem with track laying in this game. Pointed it out to the devs many times, but nothing is done about it.
Map mod is what I've tried everything and can't seem to get it to work.
how can we play this map?
You're completely ignoring the Mississippi and other river systems. Other than that, looking okay
Hah They have Pittsburgh Pa spelled wrong 🤣
saniac make more videos od transport fever
That guy with the annoying voice,, I've been waiting on this one
Is this really how you should play TF2? Yeah... Nah!
For your log>planks>tools and iron>steel>tools setup you could have saved building costs on the stations. This is because the flatcar carries logs, planks, and steel. Since logs to planks is 2:1 ratio, the return leg only has 1/2 a load of planks. Fortunately the train can be filled with steel. This means you only need one dropoff platform at the tools station. Unfortunately the iron train returns empty as gondula cars can't carry steel or planks, but this also means you only need one dropoff platform, not two, for the iron ore.
Your roads is not connected to Pittsburge

Hi
Can you please turn down the outro music, it is so overwhelmingly loud compared to the actual video
The fact that you force your trains to go so slowly when merging or changing tracks is so painful to watch, make the segments longer and the speeds are more reasonable. The 90 degree bend at the 12th minute going only 39 is an abimination, make a bigger bend pleaseeeee!!
What map is this
The Waffle House has found its new host
Can someone please give the name of the map? there are several on workshop but none of them are this map!
