The mix of rotoscoping with a very retro color palette really gives this a unique feel. I’m not much on the usual retro style, but am tempted to try this.

Awesome film.

I've never liked the forced over distorted voices in indie horror. I know the game is smart if has silence in some parts though. I like the idea of an 8-bit horror, and the art style and design looks like they knew what they were doing. I'll pick it up someday. Thanks for the review.

"Who's Gary?" GARY DEEZ NUTS Ok ok, shotgun time

0:13 Basically one of the only times in the entire game you'll actually hear a non-TTS voice play (there's a faint, human female voice that whispers the word "PRIEST" at the same time as the TTS voice here).

Two movies come close to feeling like Faith. Mandy (in style) and The Pope's Exorcist (in plot). I highly recommend both.

Remember, Gary Loves You! This game proper creeps me out. I have only been able to play very little myself and had to resort to longplays to actually see the endings. I urge everyone to give it a go!

I got a little hooked on watching Faith videos but I just keep coming back here because it's the most comprehensive one on YT.

Erik Satie also made Gymnopedie, which is one of the more commonly used piano tracks ive seen in television, and a personal favorite

I really want to play these for myself even with the spoilers given to me, it's not what I usually choose to play but I'm pulled into it's atmosphere

I must admit when i first got the true ending, i thought john wasnt gonna get out. I was innerly cheering seeing the ending cutscene

Really love this game's C64 style of graphics, and did an honest and incredible job of replicating that style. It kinda reminds of Friday The 13th on C64 in a way.

A watch-don't-play classic. I was fond of this series until I actually put down money on it, and realized how much it drags when you can't just cut between the interesting parts.

I know this is kind of an odd thing to talk about, but I love the style and format of the video. It's so easy to follow and allows the game to shine on it's own.

This game could teach AAA developers a thing or two. It's the prime example that we don't need 8K textured grass and realistic bum hair in our games for them to be good.

Funny how a game with Atari graphics manages to be so unsettling while Capcom and Konami are nerfing the atmosphere in their games for "modern audiences".
