1:31 "Okay let's start with the BASS, This one is called Classic. It's the Classic Bass, The one you can hear in any tracks". *cringe* Most of these presets sound really harsh to my ears. I am using Sonarworks Sound ID Reference to gauge how much 'work' I would have to do after I load up a preset to make it sound "acceptable in the mix". I totally get the fact that you are giving the user more freedom on shaping the sound, but when I load up a preset and I have to slap a number of processing on it for it to "then" sound good, it goes against the whole "PRESET" idea in itself. You have a bunch of awesome presets and you have done a ton of work to make them, I commend you on that and the effort you have put in. Personally, I just wished you spent more time putting these videos together. Spent more time in the actual production of the video. Spent more time demo'ing the preset pack IN CONTEXT, use the presets in a small song portions with the other presets that you have in the pack. Sure there's a 1 minute VITAL Demo with "some" of the sounds. But do you REALLY show the viewer what they're getting? Nope.

Hey Yeet, Sorry to hear that you cringe at hearing the presets. I'm pretty proud of these and my customers like it as well as active psytrance & psychill artists. It's good that you have Sonaworks, I have it too. Works wonders. For the processing on the bass, I wanted to kill two birds with one stone by showing my favorite processing on the bass. Altough when I look back it's true that I could have bypassed it on the two other basses then showing both the dry version and the processed version. I'm going to make a very personal suggestion : you should ALWAYS processs psytrance bass when then come from a synth. I guarantee you that there is no psytrance track in the current top tier that has a bass, coming from a synth, that has no processing on it. If you are looking for that kind of sounds, I strongly suggest you go with bass samples. All the processing has been done, all that is left to do is the sequencing, but even then, one would have to do some manipulations in order to get a great and cohesive final result. Now, I personally think to expect presets that will require zero eqing is not possible. Especially coming from a synth that has only 1 EQ option with 1 Bell and two Shelves. Pigments has a really nice parametric EQ and you can stack more than 1 instance on a preset. It is much easier to obtain a clean sound in Pigments, although I went back and listened to the presets I've shown, looking for that harshness you describe, didn't find it. You should always EQ everything. In my own tracks, I even end up asking some percussions and hats, even if the samples are from a ''big company''. Also, I not sure, but it sounds like you took my recommendation to add more multi-fx processing like it was required for the presets to sound good? While these were really just some recommendations in order to be even more creative while using these presets. I reckon you would like to have more demo sounds and see more of the pack. Thanks for the feedback! I'll keep that in mind. I already had a stream session planned where I produce with the pack. I invite you to tune in to the stream, maybe it will answer some of your interrogations.

Hey BM, The cringe was just intended for the dialogue portion... It just sounds like you were reaaaallly stoned when you did the video (nothing wrong with that ;) ) Like, if you go watch Sample Library Review KZread Channel, they go over each and every preset and they play each preset + add some music to it and give you a reason to buy it. :) Sorry I couldn't tune into the live stream. I am going to watch it a bit later. Thanks for the reply. I didn't mean to come across argumentive, I just want the best for my Grandson.
