Wolf remix Japan live must wolf live out of this world

"Wolf" was EXO's first comeback since their debut promotions and it came out in May 2013 as part of their XOXO album. "Wolf" was another one of EXO's songs that the mainstream public thought SM was making an even bigger mistake with. It was a song and concept that was too unique for most mainstream listeners when it first came out, and most people didn't really like the song or the MV. However, as many have discovered, it's one of those songs that once you listen to it more, it grows on you, and now it has become much more popular. So what you see in their "Wolf" MV is that all 12 members come together to form the Tree of Life and in the middle of the song you see how they split up into EXO-K and EXO-M and each group creates their own tree. How I interpenetrate that is they are showing how the tree has now been split in half and each half of the tree represents the two halves of EXO. In the intro to "Mama" they talk about how the Tree of Life has been split in two and each half has been hidden away. It's EXO's job to find the two halves of the Tree of Life and reunite them to restore peace in the world. In "Wolf" the members are also supposed to be a wolf pack So the entire MV and the song is them acting like wolves. The choreography was created to use movements that made them seem like wolves, and the moves, such as them showing their claws and bristling their backs and shaking are all things that wolves do as they compete for power and attention, etc.The wolf comes out of the forest (as he scratches the ground behind the Tree of Life) in the beginning of the MV and he is stalking his prey Their prey is the girl that, in the song, they are talking about being so obsessed with and in love with that they can't help but act like a wolf and capture her so that no one else can have her, etc. I'm not sure how this concept was supposed to fit into EXO's larger storyline, but many feel that after Kris, Luhan and Tao left the group that the wolf part of the story was completely dropped and it is no longer part of EXO's story. So we just watch it as a fun side story now instead. It is also often thought that the girl that EXO sings about in their songs is a manifestation of the heart of the Tree of Life. So, that is why EXO becomes so enamored by her and so possessive and protective of her, etc. Protecting the heart of the Tree of Life -- or the girl -- is what EXO has been sent to Earth to do. It's also worth checking out the lyrics to "Wolf." You might be surprised what the song is about. LOL The main point of the song is they are saying, I'm a wolf, I'm a wolf and I love you so fiercely that I am going to capture you and possess you and devour you like the wolf that I am. I never quite understood why in the studio recording/MV of the Mandarin version, why they left the Koran word for I love you -- saranghaeyo -- in the Mandarin song. Because, if you ever hear EXO-M perform "Wolf" live in China, they always change the lyrics to say Wǒ ài nǐ, which is I love you in Mandarin. And it doesn't sound strange or out of place, so why didn't they change it for the MV? If you are impressed with their vocals in the MV, just wait until you see the live concert performance of the song. You will be even more blown away when you hear what they can do live. "Growl" was the follow up song to "Wolf. "Growl" was the song that was the lead track on the XOXO repackaged album which came out in August 2013. Too many ppl didn't like Wolf but it's the song that kinda grow on you when you listen to it more than once + the live performance (remix in EXOrDium) is waaayyyy much better than the song itself

I haven't seen any covers of this song, many idols find it hard to sing. But EXO nailed the live, I highly recommend the whole set: MAMA+ MONSTER+ WOLF (REMIX) IN JAPAN (or Seoul).

The intro choreo is the tree of life, good eyes :) And wolf is literally my favorite outfit concept they did and I love the cool dubstep vibe and don't even get me started on the live stage of this in Japan because that was just one of their top notch performances EVER!!

Honestly wolf was the first kpop and Exo song I've ever seen back in 2013 and I fell Inlove but it took me tempo in 2018 to suck me into the kpop world :)

Yes you should watch this set. It's fire! Then you could throw in the Wolf lyric video so you could understand what's the song all about. Wolf is weird and breaks the norm of music but iconic and vocal flexing...

You can watch the Japan version it's much better, better audio and camera work, its usually does not get blocked but you can pause the video once a while just in case, I HIGHLY recommend the Japan version much much much better

U should jump to Tempo it's a fire song and their live vocals they do a remix on this song on Tokyo Dome , And please check EXO - Diamond / Coming Over/ Run This/ Drop That / Power It's a crazyyyyy Live performance and the Vocals

The Wolf Remix Live in EXO'rdium concert is even better. It's epic and iconic!!! The biggest flex!!

The one EXO composition I didn't like except for when they make it rain. Then the LIVE performance new arrangement gave it a new life, the bass. The LIVE performance arrangement is spectacular. EXO(엑소)- MAMA + Monster + Wolf live is a must. Enjoy.

Their stages are just amazing as always. You will like it. I just freaking love them.

Like i dont know why but the way it sounds rolls so much easier in my ears than the korean version for some reason, maybe cause the first time i heard this song was in mandarin and it was never any other way😂
