You guys do know that the reason as to why idols rarely reacts to other idols' performances is because they're focusing, right? Unless it is a song or choreo they know very well. It's not because they're rude. I learned that when I practised cheerleading. My trainers always told us to; Watch. Listen. Learn. And that's what we did, and that is what they do; they're watching. They're listening to their song and they're subconsciously learning things that BTS does better, to improve their own abilities. All groups does this. All the time.

+Myssly it goes half and half. Exo definitely gets half and LOTS of the credit to. They worked hard and became successful. Half goes to SM for organizing concerts and promoting them. SM also made sure they were recognized and were famous by teasers uploading musical videos etc.

I really don't get people saying EXO don't like/aren't into BTS. Did none of you see their reactions to the BTS performance at MAMA 2014??? They were totally fanboying! Not only did they know all the lyrics, they were really impressed. Add to that the fact that Baek and Tae took a selca afterward and Tae congratulated him for EXO's win on twitter. If nothing else, I know Taehyung and Baek are friends. People have caught them messing around together after music shows when Baek was still MC. BTS and EXO both respect and like each other, let it go.

+JHopeSwag 아미엘 I love them for precisely the fact that their styles are so different. :) They have very different but excellent music. When I'm in a more hip-hop mood, I listen to BTS. When I'm in more of an R&B(?) mood, I listen to EXO. I mean, I also love them for the members of the groups, but I also love their music. I think both groups are very talented and have their own unique styles. Especially when you get into the non-promotion songs. Some of my favorite songs from both groups are off the albums but weren't promoted (i.e, BTS - Rain or EXO - El Dorado). But of course, this is my own opinion! ^^ I just wanted to say I like both groups for their music, and then the members themselves as an added bonus. ;)

Yep. Im a V fan and just got into BTS last year, but based from this performance, BTS really had a SLIM BUDGET! 2014-- I was used to Big Bang's flashy and stylish videos and when I saw BTS it reminded me of the quality back in 2008 when Big Bang was just starting-- and this was 2014!! It made me think Jungkook really is a golden maknae. I'm fascinated with him here, he looks so young, and he gives energy and positive atmosphere to the stage, JHOPE too. They have something that the other 5 members just got to show in 2015.. It's very cool to see this!

yeah I totally agree with them all^ btw right at 2:09, Chanyeol was getting hyped until a staff came along. Love to see them. I am more than 100% believe that BTS' would become outstanding group like Big Bang in very soon. They are indeed perfect, singing, rapping, dancing. They aren't acting like they don't care they are just focusing on the damn performance.

They went from barely preforming the whole of two songs to preforming an intro, two short performances, and then two complete title songs. This is what i like to call 'keep calm and be legends'. Thank you.

For me, when it comes to EXO and BTS, I cannot just simply "choose". Firstly, because both groups are talented as fuck, if I can say. You cannot compare EXO to BTS or say BTS is more talented or or EXO is just popular because of their looks and they come from a big company or I don't fucking know what shit crosses your mind. EXO-L are considered as the most childish fandom or whatever but sometimes, no scratch that, most of the time nowdays it's ARMY who tries to start fanwars about BTS being the best and the sun of their life- Shut the fuck up, seriously. No fandom, let alone EXO-L would care about what or how BTS is to you and everybody if you don't respect their favorite group, who to them happens to be just as perfect as BTS is to you. How the fuck would you know EXO has not worked hard to be where they are right now, at the top? Who are you to judge them just because of their company and let your opinion be overshadowed because of this? Have you ever tried to listen to their music? Yes? You don't like it? Then kindly move with the flow because do you know what's it's called when you know far too well what a reaction may cause? Provocation. And trust me, having to face so many fanwars that childish and immature fans love to cause, neither of the sides like to be provoked. So why should we even hate and get angry when both of these groups respect and love each other?

Okay for those who kept saying EXO looks down on BTS and other negative things about their calm reaction. Please type in "BTS fanboys (part 1)" then you will see EXO members fanboying to BTS performances. BTS even said in a interview that they admire EXO and their achievements. EXO and BTS are friends so should both Armies and EXO-Ls. No need to compare since they both are special and unique in their own way.

Keeping aside the fact that i am an army, it's just mind blowing that they talked about such ideas through their music since their debut, i personally find it so amusing and admirable,. They could have just chosen anyother mainstream topic at that time but they chose to talk about something people rarely talk about. I seriously respect them so much for this not as a fan but as a youngster.

In 2014 when both groups were newcomers and have no idea that after some years they both going to dominate kpop and will also be rival. They must never have idea that they will also left impact on kpop like their seniors 2nd generation idols. They must never thought that oneday, one will become best vocal group and other is best rap group of whole kpop. Amazing, not only in kpop but they also have great impact on acting and modeling which gives great motivation to next generation idols that idols also can do everything except being only idol.

They're not bored, just concentrating on the performance. Being a dancer, Kai and Lay likes to focus on the choreo. They were all enhanced by BTS. Even Tao was bobbing along.

I'm in 2021 but still watching the video which happened 7years ago lol

Yes, GOT7 is a close rival to BTS...in fact, they're my bias too....the only thing is, GOT7 vocal strength is more powerful with Youngjae/JB/Jr's collaboration...anyway, I like Jungkook's voice...so mesmerising...aaahhhh! :-)

Seriously stop comparing them using the invalid arguments. And literally the arguments always used are, "BTS is way better than dancing." BTS came from a small company" "EXO's vocals are the best!" "Exo's visuals are the best" If you are a fan of one group, then before comparing, actually understand their differences. Most of you are only bringing the other group because they're popular and the arguments you guys use are always from what others in your fandom say. People, if you're going to compare, get your facts right. When Exo debuted, they were actually labelled as a failed rookie group before Growl came out. They really started to get famous when Growl came out. Bts was famous when 'I Need U' and 'Dope' came out, before that they weren't really famous. They swept most rookie awards cause there was nearly no competition. Bighit may have been small, but the CEO had connections cause he came from YG and 2AM was at the company at the time. He had enough money to make expensive mvs and promotions. If you are going to use this argument, use it when you're arguing for B1A4 and Infinite. B1A4 didn't even have a practice room and had to rehearse and dance under the street lights, for a very long time. They weren't really famous as they did few promotions cause of lack of money. Infinite's CEO didn't have enough money so he sold his own house and stayed in Infinite's dorm. They shot their mv in the CEO's house before it was sold. They weren't famous for 2 years and if they didn't win for 'Be Mine', they would have disbanded. Vocally, Exo is clearly superior, have you heard Chen, Baekhyun and D.O's vocals? Jungkook is good, but he can't be compared to them yet. He just can't. He is improving, but can't be compared. Jimin's high notes are good, but can't really sing low. Exo focuses a lot on vocals instead of rap anyway. For raps, Bts is clearly superior. Rapmon, Suga and J-hope have different and unique rapping styles, they sound different and the tones changes and beats are also good. For Exo, Chanyeol really can't be called an excellent rapper. He's just good, he is improving though. Bts is a hiphop group anyway so they are clearly superior in this aspect. For dancing, they are clearly different dancing styles. Bts is hiphop and Exo is pop. If counted as a group, Bts is superior, as they are powerful and really in sync. Exo used to have awesome dance moves during the 'Mama' till the 'Overdose' era. After that they weren't really in sync anymore and their dancing wasn't as good. Kai and J-hope has different dancing styles, but I think Kai is a bit more superior in this category. For visuals, do you seriously think that Exo is only famous cause they're attractive? If that's the case, then Bts isn't that far behind. Have you seen their visuals? Seriously though "Bts is unique as they did a hiphop concept" Have you heard of B.A.P? They made the concept popular. "Their dancing is top tier, even better than Infinite" I don't think they can be compared to Infinite and Shinee yet, their performances may be strong... but Infinite and Shinee are another level. "They are really close, unlike Exo" Exo went through hardships together even when members left the group. I think that's pretty close to me. "Exo lipsyncs" That's true, but can't help it. "Bts composes their own songs" Exo also does. "Exo is fake" How do you know Bts isn't fake? "Exo only has visuals" Well damn... saying Bts doesn't have visuals? "Exo is superior in every way, Bts can't be compared" Errr.. yes they can. Like you can compared their dancing, personalities, vocals and rap. " "Bts isn't as good looking" As explained, you think the sexy beasts named Bts aren't handsome? "Their vocals suck." Their main vocal just turned 18, their lead vocal mainly got in through dancing, he had only started singing at the time. V... got in through singing (maybe looks as well), the 'weakest vocalist' got in and was supposed to be an actor. "Rapmon and Jin can't dance" Are you saying the Dance Monster and Dancing Machine can't dance?? The Chensing Machine and Yeolsing Machine are about the same. "They can't act" How many members of Exo acts? D.O (who is awesome at acting), Chanyeol who had just started to act, Xiumin who did pretty well in the webdrama and Kai... who didn't do so well. Jin got acting lessons and V had just got the script. "They are untalented" Rap, dance... I don't think so. The other group may not be your style, so stop bringing them down. You're just creating a name for the fandom literally. Exo'ls are famous for being errr... crazy fans... and Army's are famous for bringing down other idols and think Bts is the best at everything. Also mentioning them in unrelated videos, like someone has a Jungkook profile pic, and then the top comment is about Bts. You can compare them all you want, but at least use valid arguments as I've said above. Bts and Exo are actually friends you know... unlike the fandom. (Also Bighit CEO is getting a bit cocky. He literally posted that Bts Album sales are catching up to Exo and Bigbang... Lol, Bigbang is still the king you know), but you can't deny that SM Ent. is spending too much time and money on Exo.

first of all, EXO is famous because SM puts a lot of effort on their debut. Best trailers, Best songwriters, Best handsome members, Best choreographer, and a GREAT marketing industry and entertainment. Second of all, BTS has the potential on rise but their company isn't as big as EXO's company. I LOVE both groups, and the truth is, both group has their own cons and pros. Like the rapper line in BTS are way more better than EXOs. The dancer line in BTS and EXO are the same, but Kai wins in this one. In the terms of synchronization, i have to say BTS because lately, EXO's been out of sync since like, 3 members are out. and LYRICS? EXO's lyrics are powerful and legit yet BTS's lyrics are more into life aspect and the closest to reality. Both are AMAZING groups. You all just keep siding on EXO because their marketing and public acknowledgement are absolutely incredible over these past years. For your information, there are a lot of groups that are as good as EXO, even the potentials are better, but they just don't have a big company as they are.

+Im YoonA I think what they're trying to say is that SM was a popular company before EXO debuted because of groups who debuted before them like TVXQ, SuJu, SNSD, etc. so EXO became known more easily because of SM's marketing advantages. Bighit was pretty unknown before BTS debuted and the company became more known with BTS's success. I'm not saying EXO isn't talented b/c of this since they have amazing vocalists and other strengths, I'm just saying that BTS had to put in more effort into becoming known in the kpop world. I personally love both groups, but I'm more biased towards BTS because I find their music more relatable.
