It's a difficult situation, and I don't know the details. Lay was working in his solo music in China when political conflics emerged between China and Korea. Korean music and groups were banned from China, and Lay couldn't go back to Korea to record and practice for the album. Right now he's famous and works constantly as a solist. Who knows when he'll go back to EXO.

I can't quite describe how 8:23 breaks me. It's the song, the stage, the lyrics, how we all knew that a goodbye was coming soon, the fact that it was Baekhyun who broke (you know what I mean right?), how heart-breakingly beautiful he looked right there, how he tried to sing the last part and how real and fragile his voice sounded, how he put his hand on his chest afterwards and how Chen picked the song back up immediately with his strong, reliable, angelic voice as if he were saying "It's okay" ... just it all tears me up
