If you wanted to react to EXO’s best vocals, posting your reaction to the EXIST album would have been more than enough! 😂 these compilations are great but they often lack EXO’s real best work… it’s always mostly high notes. As Chen said during Chen FM, he wants to be recognized not just for his high notes. And personally for me, his range in the lower notes and his control and piercing quality that still has ability to blend with others is what makes him great. D.O. And his riffs and runs and approach to any line and any song and making even the unexciting parts of a song sound amazing is mindblowing. Baekhyun just has a depth and beauty and clarity to his voice that is unmistakable and flawless. Then you have Suho who definitely proved himself as a main vocalist already in Obsession and EXIST. And then Xiumin’s unique tone and unmistakable clarity and Kai ‘s sexy vibrato and confidence are phenomenal in it as well. Chanyeol and Sehun were standouts in EXIST. First of all, very hiphop but clean and classy rapping with a lot of character. Secondly, they sang so many low harmonies which you wont hear in other groups and they also sang a lot of key lines that add character to each song. That Open Arms performance is nothing in comparison to any Exist song, truly.
