The performance you saw with Suho wearing a red dress was a special stage in an SMTown concert. The song they performed was a song by a very popular girl group at that time. Not all EXO members participated: it was Suho, Minho from SHINee, Kyuhyun from Super Junior, and Changmin (Max) from TVXQ, one person from each SM group. Suho trained with SHINee, and all four of them are good friends and pretty close age wise.

Just a slight correction with that Girl's Day "Something" performance that Suho did for that SMTown concert. SM didn't select the members. All 4 of them are part of a group of friends, nicknamed the Kyu line, and Kyuhyun came up with the idea to perform the song and suggested it to Minho and Changmin. They decided to ask Suho if he wanted to participate because he had never done something like that before and they thought it would be a good way for him to show another side of himself. They've talked about it in the past in behind the scenes interviews from that concert and in other interviews, etc. Funny parody and collaboration stages like that used to be a common part of SMTown concerts and it's usually the Super Junior members that most often spearhead something like that because, as you may know, Super Junior are known for their funny concert stages.

Chanyeol let out "Ahhhh..." while he was thinking of what to say then witty Baekhyun took a ride with harmonize so other members tagged along!, it's unexpected without plan!

My EXO are uncontrollable🤣🤣🤣 Baek is a genius and a born entertainer he knows how to brighten up anywhere he is and knows how to make people laugh. Chanyeol is outgoing and super hyper and funny, Suho makes sad jokes which is actually really funny to me, Xiumin is so randomly funny, Kyungsoo always has a straight face which actually makes me laugh so hard, Chen is so loud and active and always on board with Baek and Channie, Lay is also so randomly funny he being naive about a lot of things makes me die of laughter, Sehun is so spoiled and does whatever he likes, says whatever he likes and his hyungs let him be 😭😭😭 How can a group be so perfect and great and funny and talented and handsome and entertaining🥺🥺🥺

Lay is shocked that there are so many fans because that clip was during his solo U.S. debut Namanana album promotional tour in 2018, so he didn't expect to have that many American fans. (Hence why he and his driver, or whomever that was, were speaking English.) EXO really doesn't promote or tour much outside of Asia -- and Lay promotes outside of China even less than the rest of EXO -- so the members are often shocked when they go to a western country and see the crowds they attract. That clip of Suho in the red dress was a special stage that he and several SM artists did for an SMTown concert in 2014, where they did a parody of the song and choreography of "Something" by the girl group Girl's Day, kzread.info/dash/bejne/jIOAlrugcpCcg6w.html. And not only was Suho involved, but Minho from SHINee, Kyuhyun from Super Junior and Changmin (Max) from TVXQ also dressed up as girls as part of that "Boy's Day" performance. I feel like, reactors in general misses the point of what baekhyun said about sehun having the best body. There is an indication in any video to search it on google (having big nose) but never did I really see anyone doing so and only laughed for the wrong interpretation. I laughed over that clip for two years too without realising they meant something else! RJ if ever you read this comment, please do search up 😂
