Also the reason he sings so less in here is because they usually started at the chorus where he didn't have any lines. Sehun usually have lines in last chorus but most of the chorus in this take were the beginning or mid parts.

Exo's falsetto is also top tier and delicious, yes,most k-pop idols goes into falsetto whenever they need to go higher, and most idols strains a lot. And EXO is one of the group who doesn’t need to in falsetto, but they do, because it’s stylistic choice of producers+ singers, Baekhyun, the guy in black has the most Beautiful switch Between his head to mix, and falsetto ( I am not that knowledgeable in vocal so), his rang in General is pretty large, Chen( in white) undebatably The best male singer in k-pop(from 3rd gen till now)have largest range, D.O, another main vocal has the most agile voice in k-pop ever.EXO usually don’t strain, because they care about technique, and they still learning new method to make their skill better, they are very passionate about singing. Red Velvet is actually their sister group under same company. They trained together

EXO was the biggest male group before they went on hiatus due to military service and BTS took over, the difference is that they were not promoted in the west. 😅 You should checkout more of their songs. Their diacography is amazing. ❤

The one in the middle is Chen, he's one of the main vocalists. He have 3 ballad/soft album and the 4th was his recently released Japanese rock/upbeat album. EXO has 9 members, 7 have their own solo album/s. Most of them are film and musical actors. Thanks for the EXO reaction.

EXO has 9 members. one member is in the military and the other one is a chinese member, that's why they weren't not here. EXO have been in the industry for almost 12 years now. The one in the middle (all white) is Chen, one the main vocalist of exo. He's just amazing ~ ❤ (he's been my favourite for more than 7 years now 🥰) The one in the right corner (blue cardigan) is Sehun, one of main rappers & dancers but he also got very nice vocals. But during the early days he didn't get many parts, that's probably why you felt like that i think. Anyways thanks for the reaction. Hope you check out more EXO music ~ !! ❤

D.O doesn't stand out so much here because the parts that they sing here are not many of the parts that he sings, I don't know if why they chose those parts because D.O was not feeling well and preferred to sing less... But I did notice, well, he sings a lot less than Baekhyun or Chen...

These songs do not even showcase their vocal capabilities that much. When you dive deeper, you would know why this group is deemed as the Vocal Kings of Kpop.

This is a One shot One Kill recording. Exo are known as the Vocal Kings and Kings of Harmonies. And yes, Exo sings in their full voice most of the times and they sing in the healthy way. Melon recently calling them "the Emperor of K-pop"...i think it tells how powerfull they still are despite being a 3rd gen group...they have been on some kind of hiatus since 2018-2019...GROWL is the 1st song they did on this killing voice...it is THE song that really made them explode in Korea in 2013...at that time sk-netizens used to say that if you didn't know this song, it meant you were a spy from North Korea...they are the idols of idols, cause many 4th and 5th generation idols are big fans of them, they often mention Exo or one of the members as their role model...and they still cover their most famous title track like Growl, Love Shot or Monster..

As long as there is somebody reacting to EXO Killing Voice, I am summoned. And I still watch it from start to end even after seeing it like 100 times. Maybe if enough people watch it they'll do a part 2 someday.

I only discovered EXO earlier this year, and it was a wonderful surprise. While I was killing time, I came across a KZread video of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games closing ceremony, and there was EXO, performing the closing song: Power. You have to see they performing it! Even though I've only been a fan for eight months, they're my favorite among all the K-pop groups I've listened to. In my opinion, they've got the whole package. I'm an EXO fan now, and I'm planning to stick with them

EXO is just that group. Thank you so much for appreciating their talent! EXO did release their 7th Album last July titled 'Exist.' I think you'd like the songs 'Let Me In' and 'Hear Me Out.' Highly recommend these. The guy in white at the middle is Chen or Kim Jongdae. His high notes are very impressive just as his low notes are chef's kiss. You would enjoy his solo works. He is a balladeer and OST king, but his albums are much more than just ballads. He has 4 solo albums: April and a Flower, Dear My Dear, Last Scene, and Polaris (Japanese debut album, 2023). I love every song in these. If you want to check him out, may I suggest, as starters, the songs 'Beautiful Goodbye', 'My Dear', 'Hello', 'I don't Even Mind', 'Traveler' and for some rock ones 'Break Out' and 'Free World'. Chanyeol (guy at the far left, black and white stripes) is dropping a single on the 20th titled 'Good Enough." D.O. (next to Chanyeol) has released his 2nd mini album 'Expectation' just recently with 'Somebody' as the title track. The others also have released their solo albums/singles, feel free to check them out. Everyone brings something unique to the table and having them altogether is just perfection. For reference (left to right): 1. Chanyeol 2. D.O. (Kyungsoo) 3. Suho (Junmyeon) 4. Chen (Jongdae) 5. Xiumin (Minseok) 6. Baekhyun 7. Sehun There are 9 in EXO. Kai (Jongin) is currently doing military service while Lay (Yixing) is in China with his solo career.

Exo are singers. Even the rappers and the dancers. They have been singing together for a long time. They have winter albums too, the "Universe" album being my favorite. I am a born and bred American who fell into the Kpop rabbit hole in 2006....and loving the different groups I came across, Rain (soloist), Big Bang, Super Junior, Girls Generation, f(x), Shinee....and many more...before Exo hit the scene in 2011. I was so intrigued by the endless amount of talent Kpop showed me. So entertaining. And when Exo debuted in 2011, I was so enamored with their voices, I fell in love instantly. They had become my favorite Kpop group since. I also loved any group that came along since 2011, the hard-core groups with their great rapping and dancing, the more modern sound that was popular in today's Kpop scene. But for vocals, I gravitate back to Exo. Exo as the group, or their subunits ExoCBX and ExoSC, or the member's solo work. Just so amazing. Exo has a huge discography. They are known primarily an r&b type of group, but I love them for their pop, dance music, and their old school, laid back, mellow, retro music, and their ballads are incredible. They are known for their great harmonies. But until you get into Exo music, you won't know the range Exo has. The 2 tall guys at the end, Chanyeol (black and white) and Sehun (blue blazer) are the main rappers. Sehun over the years has been given a lot less parts, but he is vital to the group, also being one of the main dancers and rappers. Chen in the white is well known in the industry for his powerful voice. Exo are deemed "The Vocal Kings of Kpop" for a reason. They have established their mark in the Kpop world early on in 2012, have been around the world, and have acquired a massive worldwide Fandom in the process. EXO are more than just the mvs they put out. Their albums and b-sides are so good. Their old time feel resonates with me, and no other group has come close to that. No one serenaded like Exo does. They are crooners and considered old, but they will always be my group. Thanks for giving Exo a chance.

They are really good. I liked how they sing. But I never go by experts opinions. Experts would say Kurt Cobain was technically a very bad musician and singer... but he was one of the biggest and most loved artists in the 90s because he touched so many ppl with his music.

One of the things I like about EXO is how they sing with their full voice. The bridges and outros are so lit because they layer one belting over another

This Killing Voice performance, as the title indicates, is supposed to showcase EXO's outstanding vocals, so what you are hearing is a compilation of some of the best parts of their songs that highlight their vocal abilities. They debuted more than 11 years ago, so they have a lot of songs. You are only hearing a small fraction of them and only a few lines of each of the songs (And in some cases, they are singing lines from the middle of the song, so it may sound different when you listen to the actual song. Plus, in this performance they are missing two members, so some of their parts in these songs were different than the original versions because they had to cover for the members who were unable to participate in this program.) As you can see and hear, this is a LIVE performance with 100% live vocals. SM Entertainment -- which is the company that founded the Kpop industry and is one of the largest and most influential entertainment companies in Korea -- is known for having some of the best singers in the Kpop. You can't be an SM artist without being an amazing singer. So even the company's rappers receive intense vocal training. (Just look at EXO's Chanyeol on the far left and Sehun on the far right, who are both main rappers, and, yet, they each have amazing singing voices. How often do you see rappers that can sing as well as them?) All of SM's rappers could even fill in as main vocalists in their groups. That is why the company has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry. And what you are hearing is why EXO are nicknamed "the vocal kings of Kpop". Another thing SM's artists and groups are known for is for being top tier when it comes to live vocals and perfect harmonies. SM artists are recognized for the fact that they all can sing live while performing intense choreography for hours in concert and still sound flawless the whole time. The company is known for having artists and groups who sound even better live than they do on their studio recordings, so that's why you really need to watch SM's and EXO's concert performances, because the songs are on a whole other level when they are live. EXO is currently a 9-member group, however, there are only 7 members in this performance. From left to right: Chanyeol (main rapper and lead vocal), D.O. My breath keeps on stopping You walk towards me You smile at me Maybe you’re attracted to me too .... A dark shadow has woken up inside of me Sparks fly in my eyes as I look at you Everyone step away from her (step away) It’s going to get fierce from now on I’m growling, growling, growling I’m growling, growling, growling I’m growling, growling, growling If you don’t back away then I don’t care if you get hurt ..." etc. "Growl" is literally the song that skyrocketed EXO into superstardom and it's now considered one of Korea's national anthems, if you have been a part of Kpop for any amount of time you have to know this song because it's part of Kpop culture and it is used everywhere. It was even one of the theme songs for the 2018 Winter Olympics. I mean it's one of the most covered songs by trainee groups and you can see and hear it being performed by people all over the place. "Growl" is the song that EXO are most known for. "Sing For You" came out in 2015 and it is literally, as the title says, EXO singing to EXO-Ls (EXO's fans). This song has an MV and it's all part of EXO's storyline. This song was released after 3 of their Chinese members left the group, so it's also a promise and apology song to EXO-Ls. As you just saw, "Miracles in December" is a song that is only sung by EXO's three main vocalists, Chen, Baekhyun and D.O. However, you will see all the EXO members in the MV because it tells another part of EXO's story. There is no MV for "The Eve" because it's a B-side track. However, it's the B-side song that they promoted with, along with their lead track "Ko Ko Bop," so they have a dance practice video for the song you will have to check out. "The Eve" is one of their most iconic songs and performances. EXO debuted in 2012 with their song "Mama." When you watch that MV and get to know EXO better, you will understand why D.O. was making jokes and they were all laughing when he introduced "Mama." EXO's debut and group concept is unlike anything you have ever seen before and "Mama" is one of the most epic debut songs and MVs ever created. This is the song and MV that explains EXO's entire storyline and concept. If you are ever going to understand anything about EXO you have to watch BOTH their EXO-K and EXO-M versions of their "Mama" MVs. "Overdose" is about overdosing on love like a drug and been trapped within a maze, so the sound of the song is supposed to be disorienting because you are supposed to feel like they are being brainwashed and unable to find their way out, etc. As the English lines in "Monster" say ... They're "Creeping, Creeping, Creeping .... Creeping in your heart babe" "You can call me Monster (because) I'm creeping in your heart babe." "She got me goin' crazy." The song's called "Monster," so the words are about acting like a monster: "Don't be afraid, love is the way ... I'm sorry, you make me sooo craaaazzzy, you know you dooooo." The song is about how they know they are bad for the person that they are in a relationship with, and they will most likely ruin them if that person stays with them. In the song, they are talking about how, I know that when we are over that I will have destroyed everything that is good about you, but I don't care because I want you so much that it doesn't matter to me. Therefore, it's good that "you can call me monster" because they are being straight forward and warning you from the very beginning, so you can't say you were blindsided by their actions. "The First Snow" is a B-side song on one of their winter albums (They have more than one winter/holiday album). The song is about the magic of the first snowfall of the season and how it's the perfect atmosphere to fall in love. This song is so popular that you can hear it being played all over the place in Korea on the first day it snows, and it's pretty much considered a winter anthem that gets played nonstop all season long, especially around the holidays. EXO's "Power" was also used as one of the theme songs, along with their song "Growl," during the 2018 winter Olympics. EXO even performed both songs during the closing ceremony. As "the nation's boy group," EXO was the only Kpop group to be selected to perform at the Olympics. If you like the sound of "Power" in this video, just wait until you see their live concert performance of the remixed version of the song. You should check out their "Diamond" + "Coming Over" + "Run This" + "Drop That" + "Power" set at their EXOPLANET #4 The ElyXiOn in Seoul in 2017. "Cream Soda" is their most recent song that was just released in July, and the whole reason why they were on Dingo's Killing Voice was to promote this song and album, which is why the performed the whole song. (LOL, if you think "Cream Soda" is about a soft drink, then you really need to look up the English translation of the lyrics. EXO are not talking about a beverage. 😉)

Such artistry of this iconic idol group, whose career spanned 11 years, & still going very very strong. EXO maintained their popularity despite their inactivity as a group due to conscription. EXO is the strongest K-pop group. The only group that has been given the title of K-pop king. I always wonder how each member of EXO is so strong in singing, rapping, dancing, acting, modeling, charm and beauty (visual) And they are super good? And how EXO shines so beautifully. All the members can sing, rap, act, and be models of the best brands, and have such attractive and beautiful faces, and they are very stylish and handsome. The best vocalists in Korea and the best actors in Korea, the best rappers in Korea, the best models in Korea, the best K-pop dancers and the best K-pop leader are in EXO. The members of EXO have the most beautiful, perfect and attractive faces.

EXO's music is so diverse that you can never get bored. They also have soloists and sub-units that lets them explore their own genres.

The rapper on the left (Chanyeol) is gonna release a digital single on the 20th, we are all very excited. He wrote the song himself; he participated in writing quite a lot of songs in EXO's albums and has a subunit with the rapper on the right (Sehun) called EXO-SC. They released two albums in which they were heavily involved in writing the lyrics to the songs based on their experiences. You should definitely check them out.

For the guy at the most right, that’s Sehun. He’s the youngest (maknae) and rapper, the company decides how much exposure and how their roles are supposed to play. Ever since they only give him minimal lines and idk why. Those three who sang in Miracles in December, they’re the 3 main vocalists. But EXO is an all rounder, all of them can sing, rap and dance. I’ve been an EXO fan since their debut, and no one is on their level IMO. They’re one of a kind. I was never impressed at other boy groups no matter how many pass, even those famous ones. You should check their other songs, the live ones are the best like El Dorado!

EXO is the best engineered Kpop group ever. They have unique voices, and when you put them together, they just create insane melodies/music. even in blended voices EXOLs can still discern who is who. They compliment each other and that is what make them special. The most important thing, they sing better live and you have to watch their concert. The emotions they transmit through their music is real. I just love these guys..❤

If you like the guitar, D.O.'s two mini albums, which is the second one starting from the left, are acoustic songs or with more rhythm but always with one or two guitars in his songs, it's the type of music he likes and in his solo albums it's what has a lot of guitar...

Yes EXO is so cool. They have excellent vocal, music, dance, rapper, member visual, attittude, and member talents playing some instruments, even more.. they from SM Entertainment.. and All group in SM Ent is excellent.. NCT, AESPA, RIIZE, RED VELVET, SUPERM, SUPER JUNIOR, GIRLS GENERATION, TVXQ, BOA. All of them is excellent.

Then you have either side of the two brilliant vocalists -Suho (musical theatre) and Xuimin who has the highest notes. Sehun and Chanyeol are the Rap Line. Sehun is also the main dancer. In the earlier EXO songs, there was relatively little rap - but recent albums have more. Technically they just keep getting better. Rap is integrated in EXO songs There are nine members. They have two song that mostly used falsettos throughout the song that was '24/7' and 'Cream Soda' Exo voices really are amazing and the songs are amazing The guy in the middle is Chen and the 2nd guy on the left is D.O. they are bot the main vocalist in EXO and the the 2nd guy ong the right is Baekhyun, he is the main vocalist too. So EXO has 3 main vocalist and the three of them considered the top 3 best vocalist in 3rd generation of kpop idol. The other members too have a reallt good vocal too eventhough they main positiion is lead/sub vicalist, main rapper, main dancer.. all of them can sing sing with a good technique and unique tone. Their song never felt boring for me

​@@NeonReactionsPierreExo usually have many high notes in their songs, they eveb have many falsettos in their songs as adlibs (Baekhyun is the one who usually does falsettos), Chen goes for belts in their earlier songs while D.O. is the most agile in runs and riffs.

The rapper on the left is named Chanyeol. Thank you for apppreciating his soft voice❤. The white in the middle is Chen and I tell you, he is my all time favorite singer. He is really good and I love his songs saur saur much, esp. his ballads songs. There are actually three main vocalist, the second guy from left and also the second guy from the right side. But all of them can sing and almost all of them joined in musical theathre. And lastly, they are actually 9 but the other guy is serving in military while the other one has been inactive as an EXO member as he chose to focused on his career in China. They are all good. Pls dive more into their videos and music, esp. their live performances. You will never be disappointed. Yeah, as in nevahhhh.

haha ... yes I heard it at the end... I could get used to it though. It is a way of singing. There are falsetto singers who constantly use it in a very soft and whiney way and some that go to a more powerful falsetto like Exo here.... That comes closer to singing it with a full voice... But all in all I really liked them in the whole killing voice performance.

Eles são reis sim!! Chanyeol é sempre uma caixa de surpresa cheia de talento, faz absolutamente tudo! Já o Chen com o vocal de mel funciona em todos os ritmos mas o que ainda me surpreende é que até quem não é do fandom percebe a injustiça quanto às poucas linhas do Sehun ( jaqueta azul ).

Simply, EXO is one (especially at this decade) of the BIGGEST group South Korea has ever seen in their music history. EXO and BTS are the two largest Kpop group from the 3rd (2011-2019) Generation

The guy in white name Chen and he is one of the best vocalists in Kpop. Also, he called ost king. He recently releases an album called Polaris. He has so many beautiful songs like beautiful good bye, Hello, Last scene, I don't even mind. As you mentioned theirs's gap between the last album and newly released album because of their military enlistment. exo has nine members and one member currently doing his millitary duty and the other member is in China. They have so many great song please check those songs and you would be surely like them.

If you want to watch and experience their vocal range watch their live performance such as drop that mama+wolf+monster. Their live performances shows how their king of kpop and now the emperor of kpop.

The singer in the middle ,Chen, is also often asked to sing the OSTs for dramas and movies, he has a lovely emotional tone with ballads. Also, you pick up on the details of the backgrounds to the songs so I would think you would enjoy 'Tempo'. It is interesting musically and visually. As for guitar playing, check out the EXO acoustic live recording. Two of the members are playing on the guitar for that,, one is the singer on the left whose voice you liked when he was singing softly. The video shows the other two missing members, Kai, who is doing his military service atm, and Lay, who plays the other guitar.

EXO is one of the most popular group in kpop! Actually they were the most popular kpop group between 2012 - 2018 but they never promoted outside of Asia! After 2018 some members went to mandatory military service in korea and they went on a hiatus! Even tho EXO being inactive many yrs they never lost the popularity bc of their talent! They are the 2nd most awarded group in kpop history! And they owned the world record for fastest sold out concert in the world( 66000 tickets sold out within 0.2 second) 1.5 million people fought to get a ticket! As someone who has watched concerts of many groups I can tell EXO has the highest quality concerts and no one can reach that level!

Their "Universe" Winter album is not a miss and a MUST LISTEN to album. hoping to see you react to it. ❤
