Exeter have a new and young team. In rugby having a settled team is a real advantage. You saw our starters and how disjointed they were. Exeter will get better and better. Baxter is a prince amongst men. For me a shoo in for England head coach. Good luck Chiefs!

We always hear that the show of the French Top 14 is so attractive compared to the poor level of the Premiership. I am French, I played rugby and I am glad to discover every week the highlights of your championship. This one being particularly exciting. I will keep going watching.

Saints bench proved their weight in gold. I was sitting in the crowd about 15m away from where Mitchell made his break. I never saw that gap and the turn of pace to leave the Chiefs defenders in the dust was impressive. Looked a cut above as did Slade. I also saw Borthwick entering the stadium through the main gates. He went straight through a large crowd of people and not a single person noticed.

Exeter fans aren't gonna like this, but i didn't think the result was in doubt. At no stage did I think saints were out of the game. They looked cold, like the Bus was slightly late, and there wasn't time to go through pre match prep thoroughly. Braley looked the coldest. But Furbank and Odendall were shanking kicks and dropping the ball in the first 20. These are high quality players making really basic mistakes. As they proved, they were able to reach their normal standard after coming up to temp (and focus). With respect to exeter without that first 20 this game would have been comfortable for saints. There's a lot of growing to happen at exeter, and their final try showed what they are capable of. They will be formidable l, but they aren't yet. Saints are formidable right now.

You have mentioned 6 England potentials their. All have been around England training camps or played. Saints are benefitting from having Sam Vesty, probably the best attack coach around at the moment. England could do a lot worse than playing the Saints backs, with Slade replacing Hutchinson (a Scot). Add in Feyi-waboso and Marcus Smith. Who knows where England can go. Let's get rid of the England old guard and start building for the next World Cup now.

It's not Gatland's choice to make. Players outside Wales are not eligible for selection unless they already have 25+ caps. Feyi-Waboso told Gatland last week he isn't interested in abandoning his medical studies at Exeter Uni. So he isn't signing for a Welsh side and can't be called up, no matter whether Gatland is mad or not.

A great game, but once again we see a slow to move, always out of position, and not quite up to it referee who ought to be nowhere near the Premiership - but then, if one looks at the other games the same thing could be said about each and every referee. It is, quite embarrassing, that standards have fallen so low = and who is supposed to be coaching these people? Get rid of him, anyway. Yes, I was a referee, Premiership in England and in France, in European Competitions, so I do have some experience of the art.

Sadly for you, I am quite honest about the things that I say - can't help it if you don't agree, but I have been there and done it, and still have the programs to prove it. Structured comment about anyone's performance is nor derogatory, and iof problems atre not highlighted how can they ever be put right? Guess that you have never refereed yourself, don't understand the current problems, and are therefore not in favour of making things better? Look forward to seeing you on a muddy touchline somewhere come Saturday - I'll be coaching a junior referee, whilst you will still be - at the computer, whinging, probably.@@LongliveIsraelandUkraine e
