She has to pay him for the parts he did to the car, on top of having a non running car. She bit her nose to spite her face

In our culture, the wedding band is the engagement rings. We both wear it on the right finger. Now if the woman wants an additional ring, usually it is bought with the wedding band. Who pays for all of those rings depends on each couple. My husband and I, I bought them on my credit cards as he was paying for other expenses related to the engagement party. Some people it is the man's parents who pays as "they" are asking for the girls' hands on behalf of their sons. My inlaws didn't pay for our rings because they didn't have money. I did receive a gold necklace, though, lol Anyways... no engagement rings in our culture. Which is better that way.

I like when stubborn people meet JJ in court. It fascinates me how many imes they say the exact same thing hoping to make it sound different.

JJ tries SOOOOO hard to give people a chance to not be willfully ignorant and cut off their nose to spite their face. She left her nose in that courtroom. So stupid

I don't understand how there can be a clean break up. One person is invariably hurt and often reacts from a place of emotional pain

While not blatantly saying it, JJ was offering the defendant the opportunity to let the plaintiff have the car and call it even.

The defendant was a real idiot in this case😂😂😂😂😂 Judge Judy was trying to give her a pass, but the defendant didn’t catch on lol. She could have agreed with Judge Judy and said “he can come pick up the car.” Instead she said “the car was never for sale.” Omg girl now you have to pay him $1,066.00 😂😂😂😂😂😂 She didn’t use common sense at all lol.

This is too funny. Defendant goes and buys her own wedding rings for the marriage shows she wanted the marriage more than he did. As for the car its clear that she doesnt want the car and at the same time does not want him to have it as she let it sit for 6 months outside her mothers house and she kept saying she would let him borrow it. There is no borrowing from each other when preparing for marriage but it looks like her mindset going into the marriage was "whats mine is mine"

@Sllort Agreed. The rings were the most important part of the case and she was right to fight for them. I think she was hanging on to the car to get him to return the rings. Even though the car is hers, it sounds like a piece of junk and she doesn't need it.

The defendant is VERY IRRITATING!! To the plaintiff….as JJ would say “🗣️YOU DODGED A BULLET!!!!”

I'm not finished watching this clip, but even halfway in, you can tell both are emotionally tired. Hope they find someone they are both compatible with.

The defendant didn't say much to defend herself, when the Judge asked her questions....all she said was "I don't know"

So if they were a bum, or ridiculous, that's partially on me because out of a sea of people, I chose a bum, I chose a ridiculous person. So if I want to be bitter I would have to bitter at myself, but I've always chosen to look at it as a plus because I got out. He said she declined to wait a few weeks and went and bought the rings. That was HER doing, that wasnt him not wanting to buy the ring.
