This is so so helpful! Rehabbing my OTTB from EPM and terrible frame patterns. He has come so far and can’t wait to be more consistent with walk poles!

Thank you for this! We are determined that 2022 be the year of pole work. I have acquired two horses with kissing spine (I rehab and walked into it eyes wide open) and one belongs to my 14 year old, These videos are so helpful to show others the goal work and how easy it can be. We also started a facebook page to support the goal of meeting fitness goals via pole/cavaletti work and are suggesting your material and videos to encourage and educate!

Great, thanks for spreading the word. I am also offering a Facebook Live Q&A next weekend about pole work and Corrective Exercises, in case your followers are interested.

@@jecballou yes, thank you! This will be the year of pole work. We are very, very blessed to have Lori Price, a Masterson Method and cranial/sacral therapist, for our herd of rehabs including one horse with a partially paralyzed jaw from a skull trauma (visible large indent on forehead) that she has helped tremendously. I am so very blessed with my team!

Great video! Question: how do you "get" the horse to reach forward and down under saddle?

I promise to make a video about this soon! My apologies-- I've had lots of students ask the same question.

I have an aged gelding that is weak in his gaskin/stifle area. It causes him to rotate much more than normal on that leg. Any suggestions for exercises to strengthen the muscles in that area? I've done art2ride groundwork which realy helped him back to a normal stride but it is still weak on that leg.

Thanks for this! This is a great detailed explanation! I’ve been intimidated by ground poles and understanding the reasons has helped me understand the benefits of using them. We are currently in week 3 of your 10 week conditioning schedule. Is this something we can add to our warm up or should we wait until the 10 weeks has completed?
