he died for a crime that he didn't committed, he just wanted to save the two girls, the Two Girls was murdered by the other pyscho prisoner, it is so heartbreaking that he died even if he's completely innocent and when he says "help me" repeatedly was so sad and the way they shaked hanks as a sign of farewell was so sad😭💔💔

Thank goodness this is just a movie...

Actually there is similar story to this in real life. George stinney who was a 14 year old boy accused of killing a girl, and was given the death penalty but he didn't do it😭

It’s sad, this movie is more then fantastic in so many ways and not many people even know about it. Woman cry over titanic but I can tell you this movie made me cry like a bitch and I ain’t ashamed to say so. Please if you haven’t yet seen it, watch this movie. Saddest piece of film I have and will ever see

Yes should of been her damn she doesn't give a shit at all. Bad or not. I couldn't work as a guard on death row. I couldn't kill them watching them screem. Yes they commit serious crimes and should die but underneath all the evil they're human. No human deserves to die really it just depends on what you have done which is sad.

John Coffey explained that he wanted to die anyways, as he could feel all of the hatred in the world and, in his words, "People being ugly to each other.". As he described it, it was like tiny pieces of glass inside his head, and he wanted to be free of that feeling. Plus, there really was nothing the authorities could do for him, he was declared guilty and sentenced to die.

I cried when he said I had a good dream when I slept in the afternoon about the mouse ville place. Most people knowing they were going to be executed would start crying and praying but he was so calm . A movie for every generation.
